Proportions are really on point I think. Pretty interesting stuff! As far as Bale Bruce Waynes, I cannot wait for the Mafex to come out! More pieces for the Begins fig, and looks solid. But yeah I love seeing new companies trying things. Awesome review as always brosef.
Face scuplt leaves a lot to be desired. Upgrade def. needed for facial scan tech. QC issues are disappointing. I preordered but this is probably going to be put in a pose and go on the shelf, never to be touched again.
I won't say face printing tech is needed just better detailed sculpts and paint. Since if you look at figures like Sh Figuarts even Mafex alot of that printing tech is hit or miss and even if you get up close you see the little dots on the face. Everything else I agree on you it's okay still needs a lot of room for improvement.
I prefer the proportions of these figures to the mezco figures. Looking at RAZ standing next to the punisher, I think that it looks much more realistic. Punisher looks like an old Famous Covers figure in comparison
I like the cloth and body. The heads are underwhelming. I am buying these though. It represents one of my favorite scenes. I just hope to pick up some better repainted heads in the future.
Brilliant review Boog! ...I'm actually lovin the Ra's figure. Articulation is very impressive but those QC issues definitely a prob. That shorter sword definitely does have the little cut out in the movie.
I don't know why but I like their company name. I have the feeling if they stick around and tighten up the work, they could be big in a few years. Great review again Boog.
Yeah the price point is steep I would like to get these in hand myself but the price point is a bit too much. I think they should've released them separately. I can see them selling the ninja body separately down the line like having multiple accessories like adding Shurikens and Shurikens holding hands even an extra pair of hands with the Shurkien that are glued in the hands. Even some Kunai also a Kusarigama and little smoke pellets. Just to make it worth spending on the Ninja since Soap can be smart by selling ninjas for a decent price with a bunch of accessories but not go too expensive still they're getting there and learning as they go and enjoy what I'm seeing so far.
They seem to be going in the right direction but still need a lot of work to make good figures, The robes to me seem a little off scale (to big, specially the top part, They seem a bit big on the figures, you can specially tell when you put the armor on rah's and it makes it a little bit less puffy) its either that or the fact that the body molds seem a little thin under the robes, I think their main problem is the scales (the swords also seem a little too small, they're a bit loose on the hands) The qc issues and bland faces are a given seeing as they are a new company and still have to work stuff out, but scales need to be improved, specially for theyr price points (Dont want to compare them to Mezco too much, but the 1st figures Mezco made in their One:12 collective line were quite a lot better than these and less expensive)
I don't think so, I don't think the mezco stuff has aged well. The proportions are as bad as the toybiz joints. But as for soap, keep in mind in the movie those outfits are in some snowy Himalayan mountains and just as baggy
For $200..... I’m so glad I didn’t pre order these!! I liked the CW figures, but these are just worth it. I don’t see the 200$ there... they have a little while to go til they meet Mezco quality. I’m just going to wait and pick up the Mafex 2 figures which are the same as these!! I’m so glad! I didn’t mind buying the CW figures but these just feel like a rip off to me... 200$??? Where????
They should just release generic ninjas and skip licenses because the likeness is not there and side note every time I watch a mezco or any of these type of figure reviews afterwards I just wanna watch Robot Chicken
It's really awful what Soap Studio have done with their figures. They look nothing like what you see on their website. I have seen prototypes of these two figures at a convention....not even close to the final product. Big disappointment but you did a great review
All toy company shows off prototypes that are hand painted by their sculpted and painters. Most of the actual figure never look anything like it other than for imports, but that's not to say they never mess up either.
@@FrankW1029 I totally agree with you but in this case for an upstart like Soap Studio, it's a missed opportunity for them to make a great first impression on these figures
i think they're alright. other than the paint on the face, the rest of the figures and accessories actually look good and at the original price point in HKD they are not bad. people are always going to add the import cost etc and say they're overpriced, but i never do because everybody has to pay import cost anyway. There are report by HK collector i follow on fb that they can be had to way less than their msrp too. i just personally don't care for them because they are taller than 1/12 scale.
So glad I passed on these! I’m going with Mafex on this one, their Ra’s looks fantastic!
Horrorman I was about to tweet you the link for this lol.
Mizthegr8 lol 😆
I definitely do think soap studios should keep on going. I can see them being really amazing in a years time
standing next mezco DD, the proportion looks a lot better tbh. the shoulder's not freakishly low and out like on the mezco.
Best aspect going so far!
as their first few figures go they ain't bad. can only improve from here.
Totally agree FankW1029 :-)

Their clothing looks really good, but I'm not too fond of the rest of them. Nice review.👍
Agreed!
The clothing and all looks good but I’m sorry the headsculpt is not on point..

Figures are TRASH. Head sculpts off, clothes look cheap, lack of accessories, QC issues and WAY over priced. Pass.

As just the masked ninja look, the R'az looks pretty good for me. But I'm just priced out for what I'm getting.

These head sculpts look a lot better than Flash and Green Arrow
Their proportions are def much more true to life than mezco. I think mezcos strongest suit is their head sculpts and accessories
Yeah the price point is steep I would like to get these in hand myself but the price point is a bit too much.

So basically, its 80+ usd just for cloths then. I'd like to see these cloths with mafex body and KAI head :)
Look for these at your local yard sale for a SUBSTANTIAL discount
At that price it comes out at about 69 per fig in the pack
The paint is not so good otherwise these are really good. Great video btw
For $200..... I’m so glad I didn’t pre order these!! I liked the CW figures, but these are just worth it. I don’t see the 200$ there... they have a little while to go til they meet Mezco quality. Easy pass. Great review!
yeah these do look pretty bad. honestly im not a fan of 6 inch cloth figures including mezco.
Marcus White
I don't get the mezco craze. the outfits and body sculpts look freakishly weird to me
@@gunnersmate7482 they are out of proportion
Cool man you just saved me like 200 bucks lol sooo bad yuck and disappointing:( always love your reviews man!
The best part of these is clothing. The heads are straight up bad.
Is soap a Chinese company?
They are out of Hong Kong, yes.
The pose-ability isn’t worth 200$
Its “broke arm Bruce” 😂
These figures look like dolls.
Well, they are basically. Lol.
Do know HotToys?
Nahhh I have a Mezco BvS Batman and I regret paying 80$ for a small ass figure. For that price Just save 100 more dollars and get a HotToys like me.
$60 for an extra head and sword...
all free for pre-order on soapstudio's own website. bbts is overcharging for these.
Yo that Bruce sculpt is terrible! And what’s up with the long arms🤨 The Villain looks better 👊🏾
Jesus those arms are so long
This might be weird but I like the sound of ur voice

Bruce waine’s arm sucks
These figures are garbage.
Ooof these are terrible 💩💩💩💩💩
