I totally agree! Just got done commenting about it too! They should just admit that they’re recycling shades. Who cares? They recycle liner shades all the time in releases, and the sets still get purchased. I don’t get why they don’t want to just say they’re recycling shades. With alllllllllll the releases colourpop does, anyone who was surprised by the fact that they recycle shades in living in a dreamland 😂 I wouldn’t expect them to do pay to create a brand new shade for a new release when it’s already something they’ve done in the past. Like if they have the idea to have a bright aqua color in a new palette and why not take a bright aqua color they’ve already created and use it instead of paying to create a new shade that they then just slightly change to have it a little different (because how different could it be?!). But they should just say, this palette has all previously released shades. They can say even say if they’re all shades from palettes that have been discontinued, then people who might initially not be drawn to the color story as a whole, but see that there’s a few shades from a discontinued palette they always regretted not getting, maybe they’d purchase it. It seems like Ulta has a way of giving us a hint. In the high tide palette there were two shades from the Dream St palette and they "mistakenly" wrote the original names, that is, mermaid boy and water bearer
I think recycling colours is a great idea cause if you only want a few palettes and you like a shade but might not wear other colours in the palette there will probably be another palette you will wear that includes that shade also means CP aren't wasting products.

I promised my husband I would cut way back on pallets. But I did buy all the new creme gel liners. And working as a nurse I can wear a neutral eye and use a fun liner to jazz it up. 🤩

I know you said this wouldn't be the standard, but I actually wouldn't mind if it was, because I felt we got all your usual amazing info and the same great quality. I really want that Cabana Club. I think it's fine to recycle colours into different color stories. Some of us aren't super creative to put these colors together on our own. And I didn't want the Lush Life until now. You made me think hmmm, I think I need those colors. LOL
I love the Lush Life palette even more in person. That and Limoncello will be my go-to vacation palettes this year. Cabana Club looks like the ND Circo Loco palette... so I don't need it. But I would've liked it 2 years ago lol Cherry Crush just looks like other palettes.

I think its so stinkin cute (I am probably the only one in the world that noticed this, and doesn't bother me a bit), that, while most influencers are being very showy that they are drinking their water (so good for the skin, lol), from their glass water bottle and glass straw, etc... and you are putting up that Dr pepper can commercial. I try not to drink a lot of soft drinks, but it almost looks like a secret rebellion thing and makes me love it, haha. bless you I love you!!! I got the Cabana Club at Ulta the other day and was so upset the liners were all sold out. I really wanted the blue one! Then I ordered the Lush Life palette and liner bundle, the High Tide SS and liner duos and a lip stain from the Cherry collection and a few random liners I wanted and a Kathleen Lights empty palette because that's my favorite one they have lol

Your reviews, info, tutorials, swatches, beauty, class, wonderful and sweet demeanor - EVERYTHING about you and your channel is top notch. ❤️ Like several others have said, I wait for your reviews before I pick up any Colourpop (or other brand) palettes and makeup items. My collection is quite large, and sometimes I forget certain specific shades that I'm reminded I already own, whether they're Colourpop or another brand. I am awaiting my So Very Lovely palette in the mail. After your recent review, I was very drawn to some of the shades as being unique to me, and the colorstory being simple and pretty. I also ordered a few Sol Body items (their Sol Face & Body makeup is great on the legs!) I'm not too concerned about CP re-releasing shades of eyeshadow that are just recycled older shades with a new name. If I'm not drawn to something, I just don't buy it. Their brand new releases you reviewed today are pretty and interesting (especially that lip stain), but I'm good for now (until the next irresistible release!) Amanda I know your a neutral lip gal but Those Lipstains flatter you sooooo well. Darn I just placed an order yesterday. Leave it to Colourpop and Juvias Place to break my low/no buy. Im so excited to get the Lush Life palette as well as the High Tide palette along with the eyeliners for Lush Life and High Tide and high tide super shocks. The only thing out of stock was the Fruit Punch Super Shock but that'll be at a later date this year along with hopefully a lipstain

Love the way you always do your eyes. Muted brownone and crease and colorful lid. I started doing that and the eye looks are less intense and colors are more wearable this way 🤩
I have found that the color sticks collections of matte and metallic that have the beige sticks are by far some of the best long lasting eyeliners. The color sticks/pens that have matching stick colors do not work well in the water line but are good with lash lines.
Face it Amanda, You're killing it on the green eyeshadow look! I am not a fan of a green monochrome look but you give me a good foil or shimmer green in a palette that is more diverse and I am going to wear it! These last few releases has me wishing I had waited on buying so many 9 pan monochromatic palettes that I now I use about three of them out to create different looks, which I dont mind. Im stuck on blush and highlighters these past few months and did pick up three cheek dew products on their site wide sale. Im more curious about the lip stains because Im not a fan of them but also, I swore off lip glosses for decades because of the roller ball thick formula that felt I was waiting to catch hair or flies. Now, I cant see my collection with out them, the formulas are so good! Thank you for catching us up. Your videos help me tremendously!
The Cabana and the Lush Palettes are very cute This is the type of releases I Iike, they have plenty of neutral shades but are not boring. The colpors are fun and wearable.

I love a good lip stain so of course I bought the one in the shade Love Bite. I definitely hope to see more of them though because I’m so bad about reapplying lip products and I need something that lasts. Love the look you created!

I just bought the Malibu Barbie and the cherry palette, both hand mirrors and the cherry hair clips in the sale this weekend. I wanted 5 minis but felt I could get the Barbie palette and get all the shades plus more that I wanted.

You're always my go to for all the Colourpop collections!❤️ So from the Cabana collection I got the three liners and two of the just a tint lip crayons which I noticed that you didn't mention. I don't have an issue with them putting out a palette with repeat shades especially when it's an Ulta collection but I do wish that they would clearly state that so we don't accidentally buy it without knowing. From lush life I just got the two green liners, I really love the theme and packaging but the palette just wasn't 100% my color scheme. And from the cherry collection I got the two lip stains, one cheek dew (finally giving in and trying it lol), and one of the liners. I totally agree about the palette, I want to love it because I love the cherry theme but I feel like I already have most of the shades and it's way too one dimensional. I think they definitely could have done more with it.

While it is a bit deceiving that they are pretty much the same shades from other palettes put into the Cabana Club... Im actually not too mad. I’m new to Colourpop and missed several of their earlier palettes and was very lucky to get my hands on the Kathleen Lights the Zodiac palette even though it’s discontinued. After I got the Zodiac I discovered that I’m obsessed with the shade the Pisces!! It’s my absolute FAVORITE shade from the whole palette and was kinda sad that eventually I’d used up that shade and not be able to have it anymore. After watching the Cabana Club portion of the video I actually now want to pick up the Cabana Club palette more than before. Plus, I only have 2 shades out of the whole palette and the rest are colors from other palettes that I don’t have. The reused “the pisces” shade actually made me so excited!!!! 😍😝💙💚
I had to be honest with myself and realize that I probably wouldn’t use these palettes, so I skipped them. I did just get the new Sydney Grace x Temptalia bundle, so I have lots of fun colors to play with for now. I always appreciate your videos though, they always have so much good information!

I don’t mind CP recycling shades because they create new color stories with them. It gives us more variety because we can pick the color stories that speak to us without worrying about having to buy palettes where only some of the colors speak to us. I think they only rename shades to make them fit into the palette themes better.
I always use your code when it applies ❤️ I'm hoping cabana club will come to the website soon. I wanna believe that's how colourpop will work from now on, giving Ulta exclusivity for a while before making their products available internationally. I really love the blush sticks
I picked up the Cherry palette and a few other things during the sale this weekend. For me it adds reds that I don't have in my collection. Can't wait for my order to come but it takes forever to get to Maine. 🤷🏻
Same girl, I thought the cherry palette would add brightness to the deep red one I love, I think it's called all that or something? I do love it but it was missing bright red and shimmers. I got the two supershocks that go.with the wine pallet because the wine one is just a smaller version of the all that one. I love reds now. I got a blush stick aswell., have you tried them before?
@@44LillPuffin I've never tried the blush sticks, but I'm sure I will eventually. Especially if they make some in less typical colors. I love purple blushes. I use the night bloom (I think that's its name) one all the time.
@@anulydal 😂 omg I bought the night bloom blush in this order to try. I hate all these peach and orange blushes. They dont work on every skin tone. Cool or green olive skin tones look better with cooler colours. The stick blush I ordered is called cool it so that's why I got it. I hope they do more colours in them aswell because I won't be trying the serum ones as the formula looks just like lip gloss

Thanks for doing this video Amanda - it's very much appreciated by me and I'm sure your community here on TH-cam too. There are quite a few items from each each these collections I fancy - the blush stix', the cheek dew's, the lip glosses & lip stains and also the mirror. All on my wishlist for the time being though as wasn't able to buy anything from Colourpop's most recent 30% off sale. I have really fallen in love with the blush stix this year after trying them for the first time in the Limoncello collection. I'm just getting aquanted with the cheek dews too as I bought a couple of those from the initial launch. You got your wish with the lio strains I see - a whole collection due out soon. As beautiful as the Lush Life palette looks, the colours are far too bold and daring for me, and so none of the palettes from these collections appeal to me. Not alot have yet this year tbh. I'm in the market for a hand held mirror, not sure which would be best suited though.

I'm not too concerned about CP re-releasing shades of eyeshadow that are just recycled older shades with a new name. If I'm not drawn to something, I just don't buy it. Their brand new releases you reviewed today are pretty and interesting (especially that lip stain), but I'm good for now (until the next irresistible release!) Amanda I know your a neutral lip gal but Those Lipstains flatter you sooooo well. Darn I just placed an order yesterday. Leave it to Colourpop and Juvias Place to break my low/no buy. Im so excited to get the Lush Life palette as well as the High Tide palette along with the eyeliners for Lush Life and High Tide and high tide super shocks. The only thing out of stock was the Fruit Punch Super Shock but that'll be at a later date this year along with hopefully a lipstain

Love the way you always do your eyes. Muted brownone and crease and colorful lid. I started doing that and the eye looks are less intense and colors are more wearable this way 🤩
I have found that the color sticks collections of matte and metallic that have the beige sticks are by far some of the best long lasting eyeliners. The color sticks/pens that have matching stick colors do not work well in the water line but are good with lash lines.
I been mesmerized by the green look is very stunning. Alright picking up some from cabana club cheecks stick and lush lip gloss.
Face it Amanda, You're killing it on the green eyeshadow look! I am not a fan of a green monochrome look but you give me a good foil or shimmer green in a palette that is more diverse and I am going to wear it! These last few releases has me wishing I had waited on buying so many 9 pan monochromatic palettes that I now I use about three of them out to create different looks, which I dont mind. Im stuck on blush and highlighters these past few months and did pick up three cheek dew products on their site wide sale. Im more curious about the lip stains because Im not a fan of them but also, I swore off lip glosses for decades because of the roller ball thick formula that felt I was waiting to catch hair or flies. Now, I cant see my collection with out them, the formulas are so good! Thank you for catching us up. Your videos help me tremendously!

I love a good lip stain so of course I bought the one in the shade Love Bite. I definitely hope to see more of them though because I’m so bad about reapplying lip products and I need something that lasts. Love the look you created!

I just bought the Malibu Barbie and the cherry palette, both hand mirrors and the cherry hair clips in the sale this weekend. I wanted 5 minis but felt I could get the Barbie palette and get all the shades plus more that I wanted.

You're always my go to for all the Colourpop collections!❤️ So from the Cabana collection I got the three liners and two of the just a tint lip crayons which I noticed that you didn't mention. I don't have an issue with them putting out a palette with repeat shades especially when it's an Ulta collection but I do wish that they would clearly state that so we don't accidentally buy it without knowing. From lush life I just got the two green liners, I really love the theme and packaging but the palette just wasn't 100% my color scheme. And from the cherry collection I got the two lip stains, one cheek dew (finally giving in and trying it lol), and one of the liners. I totally agree about the palette, I want to love it because I love the cherry theme but I feel like I already have most of the shades and it's way too one dimensional.
I think they definitely could have done more with it.

While it is a bit deceiving that they are pretty much the same shades from other palettes put into the Cabana Club... Im actually not too mad. I’m new to Colourpop and missed several of their earlier palettes and was very lucky to get my hands on the Kathleen Lights the Zodiac palette even though it’s discontinued. After I got the Zodiac I discovered that I’m obsessed with the shade the Pisces!! It’s my absolute FAVORITE shade from the whole palette and was kinda sad that eventually I’d used up that shade and not be able to have it anymore. After watching the Cabana Club portion of the video I actually now want to pick up the Cabana Club palette more than before. Plus, I only have 2 shades out of the whole palette and the rest are colors from other palettes that I don’t have. The reused “the pisces” shade actually made me so excited!!!! 😍😝💙💚

I had to be honest with myself and realize that I probably wouldn’t use these palettes, so I skipped them. I did just get the new Sydney Grace x Temptalia bundle, so I have lots of fun colors to play with for now. I always appreciate your videos though, they always have so much good information!

I don’t mind CP recycling shades because they create new color stories with them. It gives us more variety because we can pick the color stories that speak to us without worrying about having to buy palettes where only some of the colors speak to us.
I think they only rename shades to make them fit into the palette themes better.
I always use your code when it applies ❤️ I'm hoping cabana club will come to the website soon. I wanna believe that's how colourpop will work from now on, giving Ulta exclusivity for a while before making their products available internationally. I really love the blush sticks

I picked up the Cherry palette and a few other things during the sale this weekend. For me it adds reds that I don't have in my collection. Can't wait for my order to come but it takes forever to get to Maine. 🤷🏻
Same girl, I thought the cherry palette would add brightness to the deep red one I love, I think it's called all that or something? I do love it but it was missing bright red and shimmers. I got the two supershocks that go.with the wine pallet because the wine one is just a smaller version of the all that one. I love reds now. I got a blush stick aswell., have you tried them before?
@@44LillPuffin I've never tried the blush sticks, but I'm sure I will eventually. Especially if they make some in less typical colors. I love purple blushes. I use the night bloom (I think that's its name) one all the time.
@@anulydal 😂 omg I bought the night bloom blush in this order to try. I hate all these peach and orange blushes. They dont work on every skin tone. Cool or green olive skin tones look better with cooler colours. The stick blush I ordered is called cool it so that's why I got it. I hope they do more colours in them aswell because I won't be trying the serum ones as the formula looks just like lip gloss
truth about the Cherry Crush palette. I was so disappointed that the shades were way too similar. They don’t even have a highlight or a decent transition shade in the palette… I don’t get what they were trying to do here. Thanks Amanda! The lip stains looked amazing on you 😍

There are quite a few items from each each these collections I fancy - the blush stix', the cheek dew's, the lip glosses & lip stains and also the mirror. All on my wishlist for the time being though as wasn't able to buy anything from Colourpop's most recent 30% off sale.
I have really fallen in love with the blush stix this year after trying them for the first time in the Limoncello collection. I'm just getting aquanted with the cheek dews too as I bought a couple of those from the initial launch.
You got your wish with the lio strains I see - a whole collection due out soon.
As beautiful as the Lush Life palette looks, the colours are far too bold and daring for me, and so none of the palettes from these collections appeal to me. Not alot have yet this year tbh.
I'm in the market for a hand held mirror, not sure which would be best suited though.
They have been doing some really amazing blushes this year!
I skipped the Lush Life palette because I know I won't reach for it very often.
