I've been to one Coldplay concert. It was two and a half hours of orgasmic overwhelming of the senses. In terms of just putting on a great show, I can't imagine there are many acts that could top Coldplay. This was a show from the same tour I went to. Every single person was given a light-up wrist band when they entered the arena. The wrist bands are coordinated to the music, flashing on an off with different colors to the beat and the feel of the song. 16,000-17,000 of those bad boys combined with constant lasers, strobe lights, and confetti. Even a deaf person would have had the time of their life.
Yes, this is what all their gigs are like! I saw them in 2017 on this tour with 60,000 people and it was INSANE. Even before the concert begins, you get light up wristbands that are linked and light up during some songs along with a love badge which is part of a campaign. Lots of confetti, fireworks, strobe lights, lots of chat from Chris etc. They even brought a fan on stage to play one song on piano with Chris, so fun! If you ever get the chance to see Coldplay live, go!

Chris Martin had written this song for Gwyneth Paltrow after the passing of her father, hence why the song is so moving. I saw them live on their tour in LA with 90,000 people. You don’t have to be a fan of their music to enjoy their concerts that’s how amazing their shows are. It’s something everyone deserves to witness.
ALL of their shows are like this. I went to their last concert of this tour, best concert I have ever been in my life. It is just another kind of magic. The confetti, the fireworks, the light bands (xylobands) they give you. Really, it is a whole experience.

Always interacting with the audiamce and genuinely engaged in the show. I was at a small concert for the morning show and Chris refused to have an umbrella in the pouring rain during taping cause the audiance couldn't use them. He also played an extra set when they were done taping cause we had all gotten there at 6 am and waited 3 hours for taping to start in the down pour. He didn't need any recognition or cameras.

Yes! Coldplay's shows are like this, I saw them when they came to Peru for the first time, in the first leg of their A Head of Full Dreams tour in 2016. The best concert in my entire life! You have lots of songs to hear from Coldplay, I'd recommend Viva La Vida or Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, their live performances are much better I think, their contact with the audience is magic 🎉🎉🎉

Coldplay famously is one of the best live performances in history, but they’ve unfortunately stopped touring until concerts are more environmentally friendly. It is speculated that a new album will be released as soon as next month and we could maybe see a tour come out of that by the summer of 2022
I've been to 4 Coldplay concerts and each one was better and better their concerts are absolutely amazing. Definitely react to the original videos of these songs than react to the live concerts

Want at this specific venue but i was at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Tx in 2016. Info says there were 52 500 there but i am guessing that was paid attendance???... Or an inaccurate count because there seemed to be a lot more than that. Took my then 9 year old daughter to see them. She loved it! And of course i loved the concert as well. Amazing band. It was an EXPERIENCE.
Chris always tries to learn some words and sentences in the language of the country that they're in. Basically you could call him the definiton of British nice Guy. He's someone who has no prejudice whatsoever and he's very open minded and appreciative. He also cares a lot about the enviroment and has done many campaigns for different causes. He's one of the most likeable people in the entire industry (also confirmed by many other celebrities). During their concert in South Korea, they also did a moment of silence mid performance of "Yellow" for the Sewol ferry Tragedy in South Korea where hundrets of students died partly due to the botched rescue effort by officials. They had yellow ribbons as a widespread symbol in hopes of return of the passengers. Btw, Vivia La Vida in Sao Paulo is also a great one to watch. So much energy from Chris but also the crowd.

Only difference is I actually liked Yellow first time I heard it, but this was the song that sealed the deal and I also loved The Scientist. What can I say, I’m a sucker for great lyrics and ColdPlay never slacks in metaphor and meaningful content.
Yep.. Finneas, Harry Styles and a bunch of other cool artists nowadays, accomplished and aspiring alike. This band is a legend. I loved them since I was 14 and just was getting out of my classic music school shell and figuring out what is there apart from Bakh, Haydn and Beethoven :) And I absolutely get it when you say you were against Coldplay at some point, because of preconceptions. I had th same thing with 1D. I'm not comparing these 2 bands, of course, I just compare the level of fame and therefore the stereotypes around them and how good it feels to fially shake those stereotypes. I took my son to watch them as a present for being so tough when he had back surgery at 4 years old. When this song came on I totally lost it.
