some sub are not real, they have never talked about love in the series or in interviews. But yea they are brothers in real life not a couple. I won't lie myself. I really really ship this two though. Zhang Zhehan becomes so soft probably he is filming with people younger than him like Cheng Lin who keep hanging around him and his role is soft. Same as Gong Jun who is not outspoken previously but after playing WKX, he speak what he thinks. This two roles make them realize another side of them. ZZH, mother boy but strong man becomes soft. GJ, grown baby becomes outspoken boy.

I think it was harder for hanhan to break out character because ah xu was more attached in his relationship with lao wen.
Lemme explain. For example,
When you try to approach a friend who's having problems but he rejects your advances and changes the subject instead, you get this feeling that if you don't hold on to them they might leave the relationship you have with each other(and your friend would destroy their self), You feel worried and more protective of them, right? So you invest more effort to not make them leave, you get more attached to your relationship, not wanting it to break apart. This is ah xu's perspective.
On the other hand, your friend probably wants to struggle alone so he doesnt open up to you. So he rejects your advances of trying to make him open up. He feels like its just right to reject you, so he doesnt know how much that rejection would affect you. This is lao wen's perspective.
So ah xu's role in their relationship is more prominent and impactful because he's the one saying "no one leaves this relationship, not now, never". He's more invested.
This whole thing mustve been the reason why hanhan had a hard time after WOH because he was ah xu for 3 months, THE ah xu who worries about lao wen, who takes care of lao wen, who loves lao wen deeply, who doesnt want to be apart with lao wen. And just suddenly not having lao wen beside him after filming must've been strange.
Junjun moved on earlier because lao wen isn't the worried hen in their relationship, he is the playful chick. So he plays while his mother(ah xu) worries for his safety when he's not around.
These traits of their characters was ingrained to gj and zzh, zzh had it harder because ah xu had strong emotions for lao wen.

SHL is first movie i'm watching from both of these men so when I first saw ZZS honestly i didn't really like him. He had his court custom on with his hair tied up, he looked bit odd, nor handsome neither ugly, idk he was bit difficult to be labeled . Then he always had his ugly face mask, it was even tackless and then all of sudden he became pretty boy with softest smile lol, I was lost but now i just can't stop looking at him, he is softest man on www.
