I am in the process of building a welding, fabrication, foundry and light machine shop to support working on pre war race cars from the US , Britain, Germany and Italy with a lot more. Every part for nearly every car has to be made special. I hope to be able to run the shop with steam including electrical generation.
You probably dont care but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my password. I love any tricks you can give me
@Brendan Caden i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
steam built this country it may have to rebuild it that a very real possibility. never count it out and it can and should be banked on. steam is still today uses in many application and the mainstay of power generation.
The problem with steam is that it requires at least an 18th century industrial base to produce the parts. I don't mean 18th century knowledge - I mean all the working mines, bloomeries/blast furnaces, foundries, transportation networks, etc. to produce iron or steel at the quality you need for reliable steam power. The infrastructure needed to build simple industrial electrical systems is about the same level - copper, mills to draw it into wire, etc. Electricity is actually easier than steam. Steam came first because we understood classical mechanics (the knowledge required to build physical machines) long before we understood electricity. Give me some copper wire and some magnets and I can build you a generator or motor out of wood and basic tools. Put a water wheel on the generator and I can move rotational power from a river to the top of a hill at a higher efficiency than I could ever achieve with line shafts. I can't build steam engines.
People need to learn that America is not the name of our country. It is only the name of the continent where our country is located along with many other countries. Just in North America alone there are 23 countries and nine territories and each one has their own flag because there is no American flag. No multinational continent has its own flag. And everybody on the American continent is American no matter what country they are in. It makes absolutely no sense to call a country by the continent that it's located on! It would be like always referring to China as Asia and that no other country existed in Asia. It would be pretty stupid but that's what people do to the name of our country. To say that something is american-made means it's made somewhere on the American continent which is extremely vague.
You can see this man's passion! Truly amazing machinery that built the modern world
This is the most interesting presentation on this subject I've seen... Thanks.

Thanks for sharing! Maybe a bit more time with the machines/pulleys operating would be educational. Best of luck!
We'll work on getting some videos together in the near future to highlight the individual machines in operation. Great feedback! Thank you!
Wouldn't the opposite of installing be destalling?

And get a hair cut
Don't be silly. People understand the meaning. When you say "American Citizen" it's easy to understand the context.
