@@Virrow I don’t know! I love them all so much! But I guess at the moment I’m feeling Soren. I love his goofy comments, he makes me laugh a lot but I also like that he realised he was on the wrong path and how he cares so much about Claudia.
I am curious what your thoughts on whether Viren is actually dead after season 5. Aaron Ehasz said something in an interview and on Twitter that makes me think maybe he is alive, basically by asking us to question if Aaravos is trustworthy. It’s possible that the spell Claudia casted was already permanent, and the thirty day limit was to push Claudia into freeing him. And maybe Aaravos telling Viren to sacrifice Sparklepuff was more to test his conviction to dark magic, and the Infantis Sanguine spell isn’t a resurrection spell, but an immortality spell that Aaravos cast on himself.
That's a really good question! I'm not entirely sure to be honest but I'm pretty sure that he's going to still be alive just because Claudia kind of needs him to be alive in order to have a motivation to free AARAVOS. Although I suppose that could always come up with some kind of new reason that I haven't thought of yet but it seems weird it seems like the writers need him to be freed and for Claudia to be the Catalyst for freeing him but who knows maybe it'll be CALLUM instead,
Very likely he is alive. Aaravos lied Claudia in the first place that in order to make resurrection permanent he needed to get free. According to Aaravos all that was necessary was blood of the homunculi that used to be star caterpillar and no presence of Aaravos is needed. The whole point of setting Claudia on the heist was to force others to find and recover the prison. Claudia would have never find it herself. He played everybody as a masterful manipulator - which is 100% in character ;)
I may sound evil...but I cant wait for his evil arc (if he has one). I am sure that when Aaravos gets free, he will find a way to completely break our favorite mage boy, thus making him join his side. I know I am making a crazy theory but what if season 7 focuses on the dragaang trying to get Callum back. On their way, they find the nova blade and kill Aaravos and then Callum just turns completely mad. I dont know but I cant wait for season 6. It will probably change Callum completely or something. Of cpurse, everything will be related to Rayla's parents. And remember- all of the time he used dark magic was because of one specific moonshadow elf- Rayla IS Callum's downfall. Sorry Rayllum shippers... I was and still am one but thats the truth.... Callum will fall right into Aaravis because Rayla is there.
0:29 I Have One Theory On The Purple Gem, It Must Be A Corrupted Quasar Diamond Because Aaravos Had A Quasar Diamond With Him And Created The Staff Of Ziard.
That would also explain how Viren was able to save Soren as a child, since the diamonds can be used to restore physical bodies to separated spirits. It would also explain the visuals used when Viren is restoring Soren in the dream. Maybe it’s a spell that has to be casted right as the person draws their last breath, and requires a lot more magical ingredients which is why he didn’t think to use it on Queen Sarai as she died. The only hole in that theory is if Viren knows about that spell, why wouldn’t he just tell Claudia to do it after the 30 days instead of bothering to find Aaravos?
@@hannahburke7328 I mean more why Viren didn’t think to mention it. It’s possible that the spell was extremely horrific and caused the majority of his facial scars, so he didn’t want to put Claudia through that. This is also probably why he put his mentor in the coin. Since if you read the books, Kpp’ar was becoming weary of magic, and argued with Viren over it. He probably wouldn’t let Viren use the staff, and tried to destroy the spell materials.
Considering that Callum now has the prison of Aaravos with them and that he was unwilling to destroy "the Key of Aaravos" in the previous season, I'm thinking it might actually be Callum who ends up freeing Aaravos. Something that I'm really curious about and it's ambiguous and I'm not sure whether or not it was intentionally done so but I'm really curious whether or not Viren is actually dead or not? Like was that ending of him closing his eye with a teardrop supposed to symbolize the last time we are seeing him and that he's not going to be returning for the next season or is it just a cliffhanger and we're supposed to be left wondering whether or not he's going to survive because a lot of what's going to happen with Claudia and Aaravos is directly tied to that so I'm really curious about what's going to be going on with that? What do you think? Dead or Nah?
@@Virrow I think Nah. Like you once said, the show has a way of challenging our assumptions. Point is, I think Aaravos already figured out a way to keep Viren around (slight chance Aaravos just likes to mess with people)
Man, the look on everyone’s faces when Callum ends up not succumbing to darkness will be exquisite. Like let’s just be real for a second here: no matter how much fans try to tear him down, Callum is still the main hero of the story, the Luke Skywalker-esque figure of the saga. If they’re going to do some sort of villain arc, they would have started this in s4, not somewhere in the middle or the end of the penultimate season where there is literally no more time for this. He’s going to be fine, y’all will hate it, and then we’ll move on.
i think the entire reason why aaravos was able to manipulate callum is because callum used dark magic, i have a theory that aaravos is the reason dark magic eists and why dark mages were most likely the people he chose to manipulate the most (also the first dark mage´s staff looks like it was made by star magic or someone with a conection to it) i also thonk that the more callum uses dark magic the easier it is for aaravos to take controll, and that callum needs to use dark magic (of any kind) to be able to conect to a new primal source, the first time he used dark magic, he conected to sky, the second time (im not counting when aaravos posessed him bc i think the dark magic eyes and stuff was to indicate it was threw the stuff that dark magic did to him) the second time he used it he unlocked the ocean primal, so i think we will continume with this theme untill callum is under aaravoses controll or he has white hair or something else goes wrong
After watching season 6 he didn't use dark magic mother it's likely he will use it again. I have a theory that after Aaravos was freed, Callum will use dark magic to defeat him because we saw that at the end he takes the coin that Runaan was imprisoned with and looks at the coin. And also season 7 is called Dark, and the star elf whose name I forgot said that if Callum uses dark magic again he will fall into darkness so I think Callum will sacrifice himself.
Hypothesis: What if Aaravos is using Callum to possess him and steal his body. I mean he has a second arcanum now so what is stopping him from getting the other arcanum’s like Aaravos did?
Basically everything is the same, except for the fact that Callum is half startouch elf, and is Aaravose's son. And yes, he knows he's half elf. He can also switch between his human and elf forms. The only people that know he's half elf are Harrow and Ezran
