This race was so much fun to watch. GG Snow Crows! Amazing job tuning by ANet, it was crazy how many times I saw SC and Teapot's team get this fight between 1-5% before wiping, with less than 30 seconds on the timer. Really hope in the future that ANet will continue to come through with this type of difficult content. Even if the majority of the player base doesn't complete it it still gets people engaged through streams and TH-cam and gives more of an incentive to more competitive MMO players.
Is swapping to something like Plate of Peppered Clear Truffle Ravioli gigabrain or mega pepega for final 10%? The pulses basically come down to reaching a critical mass of damage, if the food delays that by a lot of seconds then you'll essentially do more damage, right? (provided the dps isnt ass and you dont enrage without the full dps food) If you really wanted to push it you might even be able to make the swap at 4-5% since it provides nothing before that.
@Vivinski7 seeing how many wow raid comps like ~6 warlock, that's already 1/4th of the raid. What people fail to realize, 1/4th for gw2 is a significantly small number than 1/4th for wow since their raids are 24 man while gw2 is 10 man. But 1/4th is still 1/4🤣 GW2 can have many different comps, some perform better than others. Same is true in WoW. In this case it was with 6 virtuoso but that doesn't mean it's the only comp that can beat febe cm. Same is true for wow. But where wow is different is the size for raid teams thus it allows for easier time to carry someone under performing. It's easier to let's hypothetically say, 23 people carry 1 than 9 people carry 1.
@@tbull1663 Virtu has been the primary dps spec (see wingman useage) since forever because it has all the tools, full range dps, good cc and easy rotation. Nobody says its impossible to beat any encounter with different classes, but there is a reason why the comps are the way they are. Also, why do people compare this to WoW when gw2s raiding scene is just a meme because this game is very casual and never gets any meaningful content for hardcore players or do you honestly think this is a good encounter? Also, how much endgame is there even when raids are beyond power crept?
