    Thanks a lot for the update. I did end up getting the Vevor and use it quite a bit for filling my PCP air pistols. So far it has been great, but I have yet to try it on an Air rifle. I have a nice RAW rifle on the way and will run this Vevor for as long as it lasts.

      @raydash2898 The Vevor has been good to me once I fixed the gauge but to be honest right now the only compressor of the 3 I'm using is the Yong Heng and the only reason is because of how quiet it is. One thing that would make use the Hill is I have a long slim connector on it and it's the only compressor that works on some guns but I haven't shot them lately. Still I would recommend any of the three I have now.

    Just got my Vevor.
    Haven't tried.
    Only tested pressure.
    It's newly released.
    Has twin fans.
    334 to my door is very good price.
    I want the GSC 4 but it's twice the price

    So I just bought a Kral Puncher Jumbo and will probably grab a Vevor compressor like the one you have here as I like the dual fan idea. But my question is I know the Kral guns have a different fill probe how do you interface this compressor with the Kral fill probe? Is there an adapter I need to get? Thanks great video!

    I've had 3, first orange lasted about 3 months. Second small blue sub $200 lasted 14 months, the second orange one which was a replacement for #1, I pulled out of the box was DOA, will not pressurize. Going GX this time or the super cheap Vevor and just turn them over yearly.

      @wd229 well I guess that's a way to look at it. All 3 of mine are still doing what they should.

    in my opinion the vever did not take long. course that plug that comes with the vever to do the 30second to 3000psi test is best.because as long as it pressurizes to 3k before 30 seconds has elapsed it is good.
    your compressor has done better than mine.
    course mine still works just not with the autostop. but i am cool with that.however long the compressor lasts i already have the replacement parts so i can run it into the ground and that is fine.
    hope you are doing well , and yeah i have already preordered my challenger elite 51cal from terry fox.....

  • @Harolddespui
    @Harolddespui ปีที่แล้ว +1

    There should be a reason that Vevor uses double (and louder) fans than the Yong Heng. Does the Vevor has a bigger motor? (more power wattage)

    • @bluecollarsportsman613
      @bluecollarsportsman613  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Harolddespui it's rated at 5000 psi but if you look at my video when I open the case it's a very small motor. I have never opened the Yong HENG so I can't say if it's bigger but I would assume not. It is roughly the same size as the GX CS3 which I did open when I had it.

      @bretshivers8352 Both very comparable except they have they inverter built in. The Yong Heng is probably a little quieter but the GX3 has the cables attached on the side of the case. The Vevor most definitely louder but rated at 5000 psi. The Yong Heng is my choice because of warranty.

    • @bluecollarsportsman613
      @bluecollarsportsman613  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @gboutdoors5198 I keep mine in the house so I can't give you a recommended temp to store it at. If you are talking run temp. Mine read in Celcius and I haven't bothered converting. I run both the Vevor and the Yong Heng 30 on 30 off but that only applies to when I'm filling bottles otherwise I never get close to a run time issue. All 3 of the compressors are running fine. I actually use the Vevor the least only because the Yong Heng is quiter and I use the Hill to fill my bottle. If you have any other questions just let me know.

    • @bluecollarsportsman613
      @bluecollarsportsman613  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@gboutdoors5198 No, I never really monitored the temp because I didn't know what Celsius was in Fahrenheit so what I do is just monitor run time and I don't exceed the 30 mins on 30 mins off rule. Again I hardly ever run any of them outside. My house is always somewhere between 70 and 75 degrees.

      @@gboutdoors5198 I can run it and tell you what my temp is, that's the best I can do. Sorry about this one. The best thing I can tell you is that the Vevor fans kick into a higher speed than most compressors I have ever used which I think addresses the issue you just mentioned. The other thing is that unless you are going to be filling tanks I don't think you will ever run into an issue. When it comes to filling tanks with small compressors, I would recommend small tanks for the longevity of the compressor and by all means that no more than 30 mins.

    It's just silly that vevor uses non standard threads. None of the connectors that came with my vevor were 1/8 BSP. Took them to a machinist that could not figure out what type of threads they use. What a non sense.

      My PCP gun probe doesn't have a quick connector. It has a 1/8.BSP thread that needs an adapter to plug into the vevor conector. Funny thing is that vevor comes with such an adapter but the thread is not 1/8 BSP standard, so it doesn't fit my PCP rifle probe, which is ridiculous.
