Nutting has been scamming Pirate fans since he took over. He dismantled the 2015 playoff team because he refused to pay them. Every year is the same story with this clown.
Someone in the Pirates' front office is getting fired...
Unless it’s the owner it won’t matter. Don’t get me wrong, they can launch Shelton anytime
Everyone should get fired the coaching staff is holding an otherwise talented team back
As a Phillies fan I don’t think there is a gap between the Dodgers and Phillies at all. If you actually watch the Phillies, you know their flaws.
As a Dodgers fan I think the gap really lies within the starting pitching. I think both teams being healthy I trust the Phils more in a playoff series than their combo of Dodgers. But I’d love to see this be a 100% for both squads NLCS because that’d be amazing
It all depends on what the Dodgers do at the deadline and health of pitching. Dodgers brought a lot of the same underperforming bats back this season. I also think the Dodgers are doing a bit of pacing this season in hopes of turning on the jets later. It’s a bold strategy Cotton, we’ll see if it plays out for them.
@@chaseclark238 facts, I just can’t imagine having to pitch to Ohtani in a playoff series. You know he’s going to be locked in for his first postseason experience. Also Yamamoto, Glasnow and Kershaw even with his playoff struggles will be a tough rotation to handle in October.
If both teams are healthy by playoffs, I’d go with Philly. Better starting 4 and the bottom of their lineup has more pop.
@@MrCopacetic23pacing themselves….keep telling yourself that. No one else will believe it.
We traded the longest tenured and well liked Austin Slater, and just DFAd Nick Ahmed, really feels like the Giants are going to just let the kids play. We kind of are going through a run of our best rated prospects in a long while, might try to add small
Great show as always guys I tune in every episode 🔥🔥
As a Yankee fan, it's gotta be the players. This roster was constructed the same way when they were setting the world on fire as now. Same players. Same manager. But they aren't executing. And that's on them, but also needs to be addressed by someone, whether that be the manager or GM. Players need to start getting sent down or traded or released if they're not performing
They also wont get rid of hayes. Hes battled injuries all year which is clearly reflective of his hitting. Theyve seen him hit at an extremely high level and are just gonna hope he can get back to that when fully healthy
Damn, playing iron maiden is pretty dope
Snell 5 innings shutout vs blue jays dont count
I'm not a Yankees fan but Ben Rice seems to be a special hitter. He has such a short load to his swing but with so much power, I think he could be a breakout star
You better hope he isn’t Kevin Maas
Surprised Rose's hat can stay on his head because it rocks so fucking hard
KeBryan's contract was front loaded. His guaranteed money never goes above 8 mil per year.
Havana for All-Star Game!!! For a non-MLB international city that could logistically work for short travel, has amazing baseball culture and would generate off the charts buzz for the sport, I defy you to name a better city than Havana. Mexico City would be my second choice.
US citizens can only travel there for 1 of 12 reasons. Plus hurricanes and heat in July.
Family visits
Official business
Journalistic activity
Professional research and meetings
Educational activities
Religious activities
Public performances
Support for the Cuban people
Humanitarian projects

@@georgejameson9317 , I thought the borders had opened up more in recent years. Remember reading about a tourist boom with lifted restrictions.
It's all conjecture talk. But I could see a world in which modern day Cuba and the USA would even schedule the event with exemptions to travel policy as would be boon for Cuba.
Dodgers have more pitching injuries and pitcher surgeries than any team for at least 4 years.
If the Pirates don't go for it, they are wasting valuable time with Skenes and Jones.
Damn bro rose only talks about the dodgers when they lose
Are all fathers fans of singing shows?
Pirates owner should fire himself for never investing in his team to win
Now they have talent to build on again and they’ll be gone when they get expensive
Skenes will be a yankee
MLB needs to get rid of the extra wildcards, having .500 teams in contention for a playoff spot is embarrassing.
I agree. It'd be one thing if they played 82 games like the NBA and NHL, but whats the point of playing 162 if we can't get the best of the best only playing in October.
It’s the added revenue. The nfl, nba, nhl, all do it for the same reason. Welcome to the 21st century
@@travisfletcher6342the point is money just like the other leagues you mention
"Maybe had to use more of the bullpen cause starters were hurt" you mean the team that had 2 starters and 3 bullpen games for over a month (Webb and Hicks)? This team is more primed for a run than any other team in the league. Cy young candidate Webb still going strong, getting back 2 cy young winners in Snell and Ray, getting an all star back in Cobb, Harrison is improving and if Hicks can stop being relied on to pitch deep he can go back to his early season level of swing and miss.
I watch a lot of KBO and Jung-hoo Lee is still the best player I’ve ever seen in that league. I wish he was healthy and getting into full swing vs the MLB level of pitching.
Also, the offense is starting to really click with younger bats making good contact and swinging and missing less. Cutting Ahmed and Slater is an addition by subtraction.
Giants just need to win their games and hope other teams falter, and they don’t have much control over the latter.
@@levisublett9877didn’t get the privlidge to see him in the KBO. But everytime I’ve watched him for the giants there were very clear flashes of brilliance. Hoping he can stay healthy when he comes back.
Sign Tellez to a multi year deal is a start
Yall make too many excuses for a billion dollar team
Fr like its ridiculous how much they are spending on both their stars in the MLB AND with how much they are spending on their farm system
It’s been a rough watch these past few weeks for Dodgers baseball and then Miller with a shit show was just a beautiful cherry on the top all I could do was just laugh.
I think they should consider trading Skenes this off season . Everyone knows that Skenes does not want to be in Pittsburgh. It does not take a brain surgeon to know that. Once Skenes reaches his arbitration years starting in 2027, the Pirates simply will not be able or willing to pay him. Plus, the Pirates are not going to get much better over the next 3 seasons that he would be there. This team has far too many holes and their minor league system is barren of every day players. Therefore, why not move him this off season where they could get a good haul for him?
Is this a joke? I’m going to assume this is a joke
@@SpeedyDC39 I am serious. The Pirates are not going to be able to keep Skenes past 2027 and they will still blow thanks to the cheapness of Nutting and the incompetence of Cherington for as long as Skenes is here. Therefore, why not trade him this off season where the Pirates should be able to get a nice return for him. This would be better for the team in the long haul.
they will keep skenes at least til the arp years just for the boost in merch sales.
@@drumagus2258 That means he will be gone by 2027.
@@davidjones5547and they’ll do that and you will say that about the guys they get for Skenes. There is a problem within a portion of the fanbase that is addicted to the idea that the Pirates will never be a good team and bellyache about it over and over. This is an exact example of that mindset
It's lack*adaisical, Trev. Lackadaisical.
