My watch stopped charging suddenly and thought it was the charger, went through 2 more and several plugs...finally took it in and they said nothing they could do, to take it to batteries plus to have them change it out, they don't do that here and so I took a chance and bought the battery myself. This video helped me change it and it's working!! Thank you!
@@Joesge Great video. How can one identify if the battery is gone? Is there some troubleshooting guide around to eliminate other potential causes? I have one of these and it literally does nothing. I have tried several tricks to force restart but I bet it is hardware problem. Is the battery usual failure point? Thanks
Quick question hypothetically speaking, if there was a battery thats the same size as the one inside but it has more watts could we use that battery instead of the recommended one?

I replaced the battery in mine and now the physical ring that spins around the edge doesn't work. Any ideas why it might not work any longer and maybe how to fix it? I can only find information on what to do when it won't spin right. It spins fine, it just doesn't seem to do anything any longer when I spin it. Like I disconnected it or soemthing, but I have gone through and opened it up and looked around for anything I might have missed, watched this video, read online with websites, and as far as I can tell I did everything correctly and yet it does not work.

@@ryanthetech9007 so is there a point to replace the battery if the watch will lose the water-resistant capabilities ? in your professional opinion, how long the original 44mm battery will last ? i am charging it every 2 days / 1 night
@@Narkissos_1 So i think the battery will last around 2 years and i wouldnt replace it but would upgrade since you can use it as a trade in i have the Watch 4 classic 46mm and its survived since its release (a little over a year ago) with little to no battery degradation.

Will the 40mm battery work with the Watch 4 Classic 42mm?
No unfortunately not
This is probably a dumb question, but would a hair dryer be a good replacement if you don't have the heat gun?
For your purpose, it should work.

is it possible to change the broken display from offline market?
No idea what you mean by this question. Are you asking if you are able to replace the display from another unit onto this watch?
is the watch 4 battery the sane size with watch 5? can I use a watch 5 battery as replacement for watch 4?
No they are different and not interchangeable

Will it factory-reset when you change the battery?
Nope, should work as you left it.
Still water resist after the replacements?
Yes, as long as when you pry off the back cover the seal wasn't damaged.
Temp and air flow on the back cover??
Nope. If it had a air flow vent on the back cover it would burn you, and wouldn't be waterproof.
@@Joesge I think they meant the settings on the heatgun lol
Спасибо большое!
You are very welcome:)
Hey bro pls post a video on gv13 update brick from November 2022 😅
Will it still be waterproof?
He said it will as long as you don't break the seal.
It all depends how you put it back together:)
Thank you.

Why can't smartphones be this easy to replace the battery?
Right
It's pretty easy imo, more easy than a smartwatch
easy to fix, nice to see, not like Apple

As I stated, I know nothing about this watch. I do not even know if it's a Galaxy 4. How can I find out?
samsung gw4 is the best smartwatch on android wear, tag heuer connected hasn't a replacement battery
It is a great smart watch:)
Why not remove screws before heating back?
To free up the screws.
Is it still 5ATM water resistant after that?
