RideNV just cause you know the track doesn’t mean you’ll be able to perfect it especially when driving a different car almost every time.

@@k1er4n544 already done. nissan did finance several prototypes with mid engine swaps. K12 micra with a turbo four (the micra R) , K12 with a murano v6 (350SR) and the aygo crazy (MR2 1.8 turbo swap)

They sold it like that as the 2007+ Toyota Yaris TS in Europe.
133hp 2ZR-FE (1.8VVT-i) engine with a short 5-speed gearbox and sport suspension.
TS or T-Sport depending on market area but same decals anyway.

This is mighty car mods at it‘s best - take something, anything with wheels and have fun with it. And I think the Yaris is no bad car at all, considering it kept at a fairly constant gap. I‘m looking forward what you will make from it😀

@@carholic-sz3qv they could swap a 1nzfte I take they arrived in Australia, cuz I don't think a 1nzfe is going to hold power, saw 2 here throw rods out, one was from people tweaking it and another looked like nitrous backfired and blow the whole front bumper off. That shit was impressive to watch.

A 1.3 yaris with new plugs and fluids and some sticky tyres can chop the mira easily..add in coilovers its bye bye mira with an even larger margin

Honestly I am soooo glad you guys are finally doing the Yaris! It's been an ongoing joke for such a long time to actually getting Yaris parts for the Mira & now the actual car itself is within the MCM garage. Looking forward to the unique build that's coming for it :)

I knew the Mira was small, but seeing it next to the Yaris at the line, I was surprised at just how small it is.
I think the Yaris looks like a small car that got inflated with an air hose up the tailpipe. Looks like a goofy balloon on wheels. Also, I looked up the dimensions of the Yaris. Its as wide as my Pulsar and actually taller than it. They're a bit bigger than I remembered.

Great for putting a Hayabusa or R1 engine in.
The Keis are tiny. I run a Daihatsu Hijet, instead of an ATV/UTV. It is the same width as a new UTV, but a little shorter. Since it is a cabover design, they squeeze a 4.5 X 6-ft bed onto the tiny trucks. Benny has one he is working n for a shop, and pit vehicle.

Now take the yaris, make it mid engine rear wheel drive powered by a hyabusa or similar.
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. I've had experience with Busa lumps in various small cars, and it's amazing. An easy reliable daily 350hp at 10500rpm!
i have a 2008 GSXR stat write off with a perfect motor i keep running with power commander 5 that needs a new home.
They'd have to trailer it to a track, getting that kind of conversion done to a standard where an engineer will re-certify it for road use would cost megabucks.

If you make it mid engine ,you could add a 4 cylinder,no need for Hayabusa engine.
Better to stuff a triumph rocket lll engine in there since is 2,294 cc bike.
If he had smart car,yeah the hayabusa would be the only choices on engine swap

Super-turbo it, gut it for weight saving and put some super stiff springs on it, slick tyres and a mean tail & front splitter to create mad down force.

I look up to you guys because MCM taught me a lot on how to modify a Mira! I had a Kancil EX850, basically the same car. And you guys are the only people on the planet that have guide videos on these nuggets 🤣 even though with your credibility and budget, you can be wasting time on more worthy expensive cars, and for that I thank you.

The yaris has a check engine light..fresh fluids and sticky tyres and engine running fine..1.3 NA is too much of a match for 660 cc forced i duction

put coilovers and sticky tires, gut the interior, put in the roll cage, and swap some toyota high rev n/a engine with short gears and you have a real yaris hilton

its Australia, the only thing their allowed to do is pay taxes and take it up the bum.
Legal limit is 20% visibility on the front windows, pretty sure can be darker on back
Only Americans think cars looks nicer with tints. Everywhere else just does it for the heat.

@@LongoHighlights Bit late to the party, but, in my state in the usa tint can only be 30% on the front windows. Being able to legally have 20% is pretty neat.

Pretty sure if you give some fluid change and flushes alongwith coilover love and sticky tyres to the yaris it would blow the 660 cc to bits on a track and in the straight line..660 cc turbo charged is good for winning against a 1.0l NA hatchback..
tires, rear seat/spare kit delete and it would have done it.
