- Our luton van conversion has served us well so far during the winter, as we travel across Europe. We've never travelled or explored Europe in the winter - meaning diesel heaters, warm coats and scarves are an essential. Although we are trying to chase the sun and will hopefully end up in Southern Italy.
This vlog we explore the East of France, and make our way over the Alps towards the Italian border.

Our vote would be for team Luton, because our plan is to travel in the winter so a shower is needed. 🚿😊 But for us the Sprinter would be perfect for the summer around Europe- you can park closer to the beaches and cities with a smaller rig. So we were thinking the vote is more dependent on personal situation!☺️😅

Both vans look amazing, but I'd have to say Team Luton, just because of the size of the van... But also a little because of the full shower inside ;)... Keep it up!! Love the content.
Honestly the full hot shower changes the whole game for us! We really don’t feel like we’re living in a van at all with the shower!😅🥰

Couldn’t agree more, was a real shame, but would have been more of a shame to have a van like that sat un-used for months while we’re away in the Luton! We’re loving Italy so far, and can’t wait to explore more! 😅

I think your van will have a smart alternator (varying current), so a split charger is not the right thing for the job. You’re better off with a B2B charger
As we were going through the footage, we realised we had said it wrong ourselves! Was waiting for someone to correct us, so you’re the man with all the knowledge we were waiting for! 🙌🏻 Fitted the B2B yesterday!! 😄

Hi guys. Love the Luton build. Where did you buy it please? Any lutons I see on autotrader or FB marketplace have a roller door to the rear and a tail lift. I would prefer one like yours with the 2 horizontal opening doors. Can you point me to where you found yours? Cheers

It’s amazing to live in, and honestly parking and driving has been zero issue so far! Probably partly because we’re travelling in the off-season, so parking is easy to come by! But loving it so far! 😅🙌🏻

There’s always time, and they’re really not too expensive to build out! We’ve managed to escape it so far, and don’t plan on going back! 👀🤞🏻

Don’t get me wrong I love the sprinter but its fairly standard build. Only thing I think the Luton is missing is a tail lift would have made a great addition but I guess that’s a weight issue.
