I just got a new hat. The same size as my previous one. My old one fits firmly and always has. The new one is more than a size too big. How far will they shrink with usual usage?
They will usually shrink approximately half a size over time. First I would recommend measuring your head again to confirm your size. Then either try on a smaller size hat or try using a hat-insert (or a few folded tissues), to pack the inside of the hat and create a smaller fit. I hope this helps.
