Word knowledge is kind of bias, where someone grows up effects their vocabulary, if they replaced this with something like more math that would be more balanced
I got a question cause the practice test is giving me a lot of things like this what word is opposite in meaning or closest to meaning I got a question I am very good when it is put in sentence form, but in practice test there is no sentences
@@xxxsniper8281 the method I use in word knowledge is I read it multiple times in my head then I use the process of elimination you should be able to spot out the choices that have no chance of being the right answer so you narrow it down and it increases your chances of you picking the right one . @@drefrmnc4130 since I work full time, I only have time to study in the evening. Every night I hit the books (I only have the 2018 book) and free sites on the net. But tbh when I took it a lot of it wasn't in the test, I guess I got lucky. Friendly tip: Don't cheap out on buying the 2019 book, because it will be worth it. Don't make the same mistake I did and studied the 2018 book instead of the recent book.
What would you do if it's a common word such as "Visibility" but the answers are words that you have never seen before or you do not know the definition of them? That's my biggest issue, I can understand the word but the answers are words that I don't understand or have never seen before meaning they could mean anything.
4 years later im taking my army asvab and besides math being hard word knowledges gets me like that likes it so dumb when you know the words but the answers are words youve didnt even know were a thing

hihi~ love ur video is short and informative. i always have a problem when trying to pronounce a new word, whether is a person's last name, or a street name or a complicated word, i wonder ... if .... you would make a video of teaching me how to break down the word when reading. yes i watched tons of videos about phonics, C-A-T.. but it doesn't really come to my mind reading out kk- AAAAAA- t... :( i wonder if u knows a way to do it, i haven't check out ur other videos yet, not sure if u are intended to teach english or that u are just pop in for one or 2 lessons. anyway. even if u could share ur experience on how do you break down reading a word or when u see a new word, would be nice :) and much appreciated :) thanksss
Just graduated high school I will be taking the asvab and I’m so nervous it’s like these words they never teach us them in school like I have to study and keep practicing
@@TMarie-hn4ps I did my recruiter said I need to take a confirmation test by the way congrats I was class of 2020 use your senior year to review stuff like math English and science there’s an app called asvab practice test I encourage you do start practicing now so you can be ready when you graduate good luck ❤️
All I need is 2 points and my recruiter will send me to take the real thing he wants me to get a 50 I scored 48 word knowledge was a weakness for me fml can anyone give me advice on math or English please

Probably jobs that deal with writing, reading, and paperwork. (Admin, Public Affairs, etc.)
