Cityrail RTX1 at Sodwalls

Cityrail (Railcorp) Plasser MTS track laying machine RTX 1 was used to replace the sleepers with concrete on the UP main line between Wallerawang and Tarana, 27 km. At the time I did not know that the intention was to single track this double track section. A windy day, so I would not have enjoyed being one of the workers breathing in the ballast dust.

Nice catch Steve, thats a cool machine!, Sodwalls dosen't look much better than when I was there?, looks windy and cold.
