I ❤ getting a glimpse into Ukrainian 🇺🇦 grocery stores and seeing all the Ukrainian foods and other products. I like how in stores there you get to weight your own produce and print the price tags 😁. We don't do that here in Canadian stores. Thanks for another glimpse into your life in Ukraine! Praying and wishing the best for everyone in your country! 🇺🇦 🇨🇦
That's a beautiful grocery store. It's as pretty as our flagship Whole Foods in downtown Austin. Our "regular" grocery stores (mainly HEB and Fiesta) are pallid and dull in comparison. Also, I've subscribed.
I've been to Kyiv, many times, tho before the war. After watching this video, I am anxious to go back again. I wasn't sure if there would be as many products, and there are.
7:55 Adriatic Queen Sardina from my country Croatia. 8:06 Eva sardines made by one of our biggest food companies Podravka (they make popular Vegeta). Funny that I see that. Great channel and a lot of support from Croatia.
Wow you have a great variety of food. I can see the prices and it's similar like in Poland and Czechia, something is even more expensive than here :-( . I hope all Ukrainians can afford to get meals and eat well in this situation compare to Ukrainian salaries that didn't increase. Wishing you a big strength both mentally, physically and also economically. Slava Ukraini.
Thank u for a chance to see my ancestors homeland.Especially in a positive light.Sending hope and love from 🇨🇦. Canada is open to Ukrainians for new program if u have elderly, children etc family who need to leave etc.
Yes, yes. I know everything about the program and even more:) Before the war we were planning to immigrate to Canada, but the plans changed for obvious reasons. I also have a separate TH-cam channel in Ukrainian, where I told Ukrainians about Canada and the CUAET program.
Ukraine has many new large chain supermarkets, but we need to have reforms of the taxation system so smaller businesses can enter and import goods. Because the large supermarket near my home ATB has some interesting goods others doesn’t but the prices are not so low. I go to a mix of supermarkets and small shops. But I worry the smaller shops will close or they will ban the small stalls and grandmothers selling home produce of Ukraine joins the EU
Very nice video. It is interesting to see how Ukrainians live. Inflation is very high in the US, we are spending about about $2100 per month for three people on food.
That makes zero sense. 2100 per month. You are eating out every day 3 times a day? even at 20$ a meal, 3*20 = 60, 60*30 = 1800. Sounds like you are eating extremely well. Maybe stop eating out everyday and learn to cook? I mean, even many rich scumbags are spending 100,000 a month on food. It is not hard to do if you want to play god and have the plebs pay for it.
@@FPfreddyyy For three people, that is ridiculous. They must be buying lots of junk food, chips, soda, frozen pizza. My daughter in law spends about $800 for six people. They actually cook and bake.
@@FPfreddyyy I know. I do not but fancy foods either. Inflation is just nuts here. We own a business, and the price we pay for parts has gone through the roof. A $400 part in 2019 is now $1200. This is greed, plain, pure and simple.

Your English is not bad (vocabulary/grammar), pronunciation needs some work though. And the best way to improve it is to practice a lot. So don't feel discouraged!
@@marianakiselova6913 😂 it’s quite logical 🤗 this is my 3rd language and I actively learn it every day, including TH-cam - this is one of ways to practice. I told in previous videos in detail how I study and how much time I spend😉
With around 500,000 dead there should be lots of extra food which should make things cheaper? Be safe out there. Zelensky wants you to "join" his "army". Let's hope he is busy "practicing" one finger piano in his new mansion(s)?

Thank you! This was very helpful! We are visiting Ukraine soon and had no idea a grocery store there would look as excellent as this did.

I usually count an average lunch out is like $10-15 per person. Cooking a simple meal at home for 4ppl is about the same, $10-15. I live in Sweden

In Canada we have out door Markets in the summer selling farm produce honey and products like cheese and candy.Europeans keep these places booming.
We also have fairs, but who monitors the quality of food sold there is not known (I mean our fairs).
@@khrystynafromukraine_ ask for the seller’s passport . If you get sick , sue them . This will ensure quality safe products are sold
Worth it just to see you smile Khrystyna.

5-600 dollars per month for two people- Sweden
Average salary in Ukraine is $450 US dollar equivalent.

Wow that is crazy. In Sweden we spend around 5-600 dollars for two people. The USA used to be cheaper than Sweden not long ago.
