I scoured google for hours until 1am last night and finally caved and went to sleep. Why did this video never show up! Gunna give it a try now seems absolutely wonderful! THANKS!
Dude, for beginners who poke like blind kittens into the not fully understood patterns of the code, the Klipper is a very necessary thing! Thanks for the work done!!
i have been having so much trouble with my print start. i am using a Sovol Sv08 with Orca slice. tomorrow i will follow your video direction step by step and hopefully i can purge the do a purge line then start printing after doing all the calibrations you suggest. I hope it all works for me but even if things go wrong i would like to thank you for all your efforts making this available to the community
This was so incredibly helpful!!!!! I have spent the last 2 days trying to figure out the whole start macro thing to make KAMP work and this is so much better.
Ladies and gentlemen of the internet. I have been struggling with my opening g code and end g code on Klipper for the last 2 weeks with my slicer. First time using Klipper. I found this on accident and man was it sent from the heavens. I'm going to have your channel blow up sir, I am going to share this video in every single 3D printing TH-camrs comment box I know. As someone already stated this is way not getting the attention at deserves for beginners.
I just posted this video to the 10 TH-camrs I subscribed to all with 3D printing. I hope your channel gets what it deserves and you make more videos. Thank you again and wish you the best
This is awesome work thanks for taking the time to do this . I had been having a real issue with my print_ start in prusa , this just worked ! Thanks !
This looks AMAZING... I'm new in 3D printing, with a trident. That's going to be so useful for beginners, but I think I'll make this a permanent tool. Thank you so much
Outstanding work! I just got started in the world of fdm 3d printing and just had my computer take a poop with all my configs for my 3 printers - the k1max was easy and had most info saved to a usb stick - the ender 3 s1 pro is now back up and running thanks to you - I don't think the SV06 Plus is going to take much longer then the ender.
Hi just a quick question. i use Orca slicer. Which of the available slicers on the config tool, can i use to put into the Orca slicer 'Machine start G-code' section
Thank you very much, you are a hero. I have another question about "adaptive mesh". Do I need to set anything else in Klipper/Fluidd for this to work? I have an Ender 3 and no Voron/CoreXY.
This is brilliant and thanks for all your hard work. I did a start and end print macro via your website as per your video and when I used it, everything worked as it should except that when it came to doing the purge line and do the print the nozzle doesn't go down to the height it should/normally does and its about 1mm above the print surface??? I have tried your system via prusa slicer and also orca slicer(which is Bambu slicer copy) and it does the same thing for both.. I then reverted back to the old normal way and the nozzle goes back to its normal correct print height and prints perfectly.. any ideas on what might be wrong???? many thanks
You are the best! I'm having trouble with the adaptive mesh and the adaptive purge. I followed the instructions on setting up exlude object. Whenever the printer executes the adaptive mesh part of the start gcode generated by your tool, it is just performing the same mesh calibrate I had originally set up. When it gets up to the adaptive purge part of your generated gcode, it faults out for extrude move too long.
When you do a bed mesh it doesn’t seem to allow you to load anything other than default? Can this be changed… otherwise I have to delete default restart and rename whichever bed mesh I want to load default and restart again
The tool you created is outstanding! Is it possible for you to include chamber heater in the temperature section in the same way as extruder and bed heaters?
If it's not already homed I get an error and failure when using 'Home all axes if not homed' after homing and retrying it goes to do the front purge and I get a movement out of bounds error
This is absolutely amazing work!!!!!!!!. Would you care If I were to include this in my upcoming Klipper tutorial video, full credit given to you obviously.
Hello, I am working on fine tuning my start and end macros and I want to add the PA by slicer material macro. When I add it It gives me an error, "unknown command _MATERIAL_PA"

Having an Error when using adaptive purge, 3DBenchy.gcode Error evaluating 'gcode_macro _ADAPTIVE_PURGE:gcode': UndefinedError: 'instance object' has no attribute 'exclude_object'
Thanks for sharing this! I was able to get the adaptive mesh calibrate to work for a few prints, but now it does the 25 point mesh regardless of print size. Is there something that would cause it to stop working I know that's a broad question). I'll have to see if I can troubleshoot it.
@@gab-3d I do have "exclude_object" configured. It had been working as expected, adapting tot he print size, but then stopped working. Just wondering if there is a common reason why it might stop adapting. Thx!

I'm using orca slicer which is not listed in the drop down. Trying bamboo lab
Did that work? I would think it would since OrcaSlicer is a fork of Bamboo Labs Slicer, but it would be nice to hear from someone who has tried.
