I found out that you can make your life a bit easier if you remove the headlights first. You can reach the 10mm bolts a little bit better from there (they're right under/behind the headlights). Still an awkward place to try to fit a wrench, but it helped me get my bearings and figure out what I was working with.

Thank you for the video I have replaced headlights hood doors and back bumper on impalas. 06-13 I had a 2013 it had a great six speed transmission and 305hp 309lb ft if torque six cylinder. Chevy got rid of the V8 for this engine. Well even though I liked my impala everyone I knew bought impalas. Problem was they were older ones and the engines and everything had issues. Mine did not it had the v6vvt engine was great. But now I work on the impalas all the time because people bought 2011 and older. So videos like this help because I now have to replace a front bumper tomorrow. Knowing the socket size and locations help.

The 3.6 lfx is rated at 300hp and 267lbft of torque in the 12-13 impalas.

Fog light model is the same except the fog light Assembly is a bitch to get out if you don't know what you're doing! Look at new bumper you will see 3 tabs that hold it in. Take a flat tipped screwdriver and pry them back while rocking assembly from back side. Not much room to get screwdriver in. Had them out in 5min once I figured this out. Don't take assembly apart first. Good video.

patrick lubin I picked up a new, unpainted (primed) bumper from a local shop for $50. Also a new fender (unpainted, primed) for the same price. Getting the parts painted will cost more than the parts themselves.

How did you deal with the "problem" on the driver's side where the metal plate fell out where it attaches to the fender? Both of mine fell out & I was interested to see how you dealt with that.

I removed the headlights, which lets you reach right in and hold the metal plate in place while screwing the bolt in. Also don't forget the little tab at the end of the metal piece which fits in the hole at the top corner of the bumper

Moved on to the third and heard police sirens approaching......
