Meh I thought about ups but you gotta be a warehouse worker for like 3 years to be a driver and there not a good work life balance with ups. I value my sanity over money. My contractor pays the most at my terminal and pays enough for me that I’m privileged to work only 4 days a week and never work more then 36 hours per week and I’m fast enough to be sure I’m done before 5pm everyday no matter how heavy we are. I see ups out all day at like 8pm at night just this week I got offered if I wanted to come in and work an extra day and was offered a $75 bonus but I still declined my sanity is more important then that extra money 6 figure checks is nice and all but you’re working yourself to an early grave if you gotta work 50 hours a week to get that especially considering it’s manual labor.

@@lukedavenport8576 I don’t know man. The UPS drivers in my area tell me they just went straight to driving. Benefits, 5 days a week, overtime within 8 hours a day, everyday? FedExs system is just old fashioned. Not to mention they know they’re ripping us off. Where I’m at I don’t see UPS carrying not too many heavy things and they’re never in a rush. And when it comes to the work weeks, I work 5 days a week but almost every week they’ll call and ask you to come in. It’s annoying and not worth it(I’m not throwing my back out for FedEx, the same people who don’t provide insurance or throw contractors enough money to do so.) Fedex is only around because they’re cheaper, if they weren’t they’d be DHL

Waiting on my hiring process to get finished, pay is $180 a day + every package after is $1 I’m gonna be in the East Tennessee area delivering potentially I’m really looking forward to hustling the shit out of these packages 😂I love OT and would love to do rescues after my routes
