hey sid, I saw your video on resitting A levels, its not looking too good for me. In my AS predicted grades, I got BCD, and I wasnt able to apply for good unis. If it does turn out i didnt get AAB, (cuz i was planning to go for clearing if i got those grades to apply for better unis) how do I get better predicted grades to actually apply for good unis? My school doesnt accept resitting so would I have to go and find a college or exam center to pay for my exams and sit them? thanks!

Yeah, if your school doesn't accept resit applicants, go to a college nearby, or a private college and ask them if you can resit. Regarding your predicted grades, ask them how it works, because when I resat I asked for what predicted grades I wanted. But I know sometimes teachers don't allow this, because they give them to you, but for people resitting it's a little bit different. So ask the college you're going to resit at if you can choose your own predicted grades. Hope that helps!

hey bro im an AS student and ive got predicted AAD and the D is in maths what do i do now because i wont be able to apply for medicine. But there are some other alternatives such as gap year or clearing; are they good/worth it or.. im not sure on what i should do now

Hey man, yeah with predicted AAD, you won’t be able to apply for med, maybe on results day if you get AAA, try and call clearing and see if they have any places for med? This is a bit long because you’re gonna have to call loads of unis but worth a shot. Also, you can plead with your maths teacher, ask your parents to write a letter and tell them to jump your D predicted grade to an A? See if that works perhaps? But it all depends on what grades you get at the end anyway

if im not mistaken, if youre AS dont you have exams this november ish time (mocks) which can prove your potential and doesn't your final predicted grade get sent out to unis during about december time?
