being an expat in Philippines no matter how good gov't provide for the roads, drivers care less because they have no discipline, no learning capabity of their traffic rules & regulations, no respect for pedestrians.
I totally agreed. Filipino drivers are dangerous drivers. They don't have proper driving skills and they don't give way and obey road rules. They are good in using their horns at any time regardless they are near the hotels or hospitals. They can't be match with other foreign drivers because they lack disciplines and training. I was disappointed that the government don't make research in global terms to match Filipino drivers internationally. What a waste of NLEX and SLEX!!!
real drivers can drive in the Philippines, if you can drive here elsewhere is cakewalk LOL even in Canada and in the US, there are drivers who are stupid as fuck and should not be behind the wheel. Also the people who use their phone in the freeway and road rage(have to have your gun with you all the time) and dashcam too - from experience.

is it just me but seeing videos about places like India or the Philippines etc....but in many poorer asian countries does raod safety/traffic laws exist or no?? I guess im a sissy because i would never run into on coming traffic on a busy street to catch my bus(or jeepney) seems dangerous....but i guess they are used to it so they know what they are doing.
well i'm originally from manila, philippines but now living in california and yes, road safety/traffic laws do exist there. jaywalking for example do exist but a law such that wasn't enacted early on. it was like recently but actually has been decade since it was introduced. aside from that, the government is to be blame for this because they are horrible at implementing such rules and laws. of course the general mass has they're own share of responsibility on this as they are generally undisciplined same as most of the drivers there.
Ang dating videong yan kapanahunan dati Mayor ng Manila ay c Lolo Joseph Estrada o lolo Erap parang napabayaan ang lungsod ng maynila noon c lolo Erap!
