Thanks for the video on the synchro belt. I’ve had mine 5 years and it’s been reliable for my 3/8 acre yard. Neighbor has one too. Tough to find a 30” that isnt a professional machine and 2x the price
i know im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Hudson Emory thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
There is a rectangular flat spring washer underneath the tension adjusting bolt head. Toro suggests that you should torque the belt tension adjusting bolt down until you can just barely slide a piece of paper underneath that spring washer. What Toro doesn't tell you, by the way, is that the pulley set from the exmark is far better, and is a worthwhile upgrade for the timemaster. The timing belt idle pulley and adjustable tension pulley are notorious for causing problems with the blade drive on the timemaster. I think Amazon has the exmark pulleys for about 115 bucks or so.
When you loosen the tensioner make sure that it slides back all the way back or you want have enough slack to put the pulley back on. Mine was inhibited by fine grass packed around the bolt.
I use the oil siphon pump to change the oil in my TimeMaster it works great. Love the video Mark. Hope you guys get better weather soon. It’s in the 90s here in Georgia ☀️👍
There’s an easier way, the top cog black pulleys have a hole that match with holes in the the deck, put a couple of nails or thin screwdrivers and it makes a T, you don’t have to put the mower on its side, remove the idler pulley as in the video and time it
Just wondering that do the Toro timemaster have a discharge on it? I noticed that yours don't. Since I seen your dont mind getting one. Thank you so much learn so much.
Yeah I think everyone that has changed or sharpened blades has put one on upside down at some point. I've done it and when you go cut you will know lol.
It looked like those blades went out of 90 deg. alignment near the end of the video when you were scraping out the grass. Why would that happen? If not, then mea culpa. Otherwise, good video. Now, to go align my blades, grrr.

INCORRECT torquing on the tensioner. Look up owners manual. There is supposed to be a space mesured with a feeler guage behind the bolt head.
I’m always impressed watching you work and your mechanical skills. Nice job!

Thanks man 😊
Awesome, thank you, this video was very helpful...
Is the foam around air filter necessary?
Helps to keep the larger debris out of the filter itself.
It's a pre-filter
Thank you!

Yes it has a side shoot the can be put on it. I just mulch with it mostly because it is faster on my yards.

I wish they had a drain plug.
20 oz of oil for the timemaster
I read 18 in my OM. And are you supposed to twist the dipstick to lock or just touch down as Mark shows?
Good video, helped alot thanks
