I am a Roma from Slovakia. We face racism in Europe. But our traditions are beautiful. One of the versions is that our forfathers have been fighting muslim invasion in northern army. But we lost the final battle. But it was not one nation only. Many various tribes under one command. But all from one area. When they have been defeated, the troops dispersed and started heading West, gradually reaching Europe. I checked Internet, the final battle was in 1192 in Terain, Rajasthan. After 150 years there are first records that we lived in Europe. So the time is matching. But I do not not know why, but in Roma language is many Jewish=Hebrew words. May be when we reached Iran we had to do something with Jews. Anyway, Roma music and dances are very popular in Europe, it is in our blood.

For about thirty years, life has been a mess, as these new peoples prosper...I am glad they are doing well.... I am sad that, my family and home finds it hard to live....
