Here We Go - Original Flavor (at about +8 on the 1210s). We used to battle it out at hip hop + swing jams in London in the early 90s and the guy at 6.37 really brings it all back to me. If you could quick step like that, with that variety of moves, keeping it tight and on beat and keep it going - you would get serious respect. People used to dance hard then - you could go to any club, do a few moves to show intent and you'd have a "circle" going in a minute, no bad feelings, just trading moves.
doncer Do you remember a place called "Tremain's" (I think that's how you spell it?) My cousin and I went out there to meet our friend from Oklahma doing some workshop and we got mistaken for "The Twins". We didn't know who they were until, the "North on South St." video. Damn. We wanted to battle them so bad back in those days! hahaha... you know what happened to those cats? Also, this video took me back man. I wish I followed through with dancing man...I really regret it. I'm doing other things professionally and see all these cats I use to see back in the days in circles making a living off of what we use just have fun at. I must admit I'm a bit envious. I'm proud of them though. Respect! Post some more bustin', housin' and groovin'.
