The best thing about this is knowing Arasha actually has two styles of playing. When she's lying, she's cool and nonchalant. When she actually is a good guy role and telling the truth she gets desperate and panicky.

Ikr, you could tell she was legitimately angry that she was getting out manipulated by Chanse 😂 he did great matching her frustrated energy so it would seem like he’s also angry with her for “accusing” him. The smosh cast is hella talented.
The thing is that when she's lying she can also be desperate and panicky to seem like she's telling the truth. That's why she's a menace for the others and a wild card, cuz they'll never know if she's telling the truth or not.

The juxtaposition of Damien/Courtney checking in on hurt feelings and apologizing to each other at the end, and the new cast gloating and cursing each other is so fun to watch. Everyone compliments each other so well.

@@emerson1998 As someone with autism who talks a lot, I felt bad for a moment - but she made it clear she said "talk over the game" for a reason. She meant he steps back and looks at the game and events to "big brain" and she was going to do the same. Hence why she then brought up her actions in round 1.

This! As an autistic adult, having someone you know will see you getting overwhelmed even when you are heavily masking, is so helpful. Makes you able to last waaaaay longer because you know you have an exit strategy that can be enacted even if you can't do it yourself! Having that backup makes a huge difference in how safe you feel going closer to overstimulation etc.

Ok. As Angela would say, you people need to take a walk. Damien is not an attention-grabber, arrogant, or whatever you wanna call him. My dude’s just hilariously neurodivergent. OCD, for one, makes it impossible for you to not try to grasp some sense of structure amidst the chaos. His first instinct is to “bigbrain” stuff because it’s the way he interacts with the world. Not only that, but it’s also really distressing to not do it, specially if you haven’t done it before.
Also, we came to know more recently that he’s also autistic. Which makes sense in terms of sensory overload. But even neurotypical people can get really anxious in such chaotic situations. So yeah, either way, I think it’s really low to shit on someone’s reaction to a high-stress situation, be it a job incident, a tabletop game session, or both, as is the case for everyone in this video. Don’t be ableist. Or, more simply, don’t be assholes.
You explained it perfectly the harsh criticisms towards Damien are often people comparing him to his smosh peers like "oh nobody else is taking it that seriously" when we have to just acknowledge there's alot going on for Damien like bright studio lights, everybody is yelling, he's not being listened too and it's a stressful game also he he's very competitive so he's fully engaged in it etc if the people he's sitting next too don't flip out over his reactions to the game then random commentors across the globe definitely shouldn't either

It’s a really small detail but Courtney patting Damien on the shoulder and just like reassuring him is a detail that just meant a lot to me as a fellow neurodivergent person who’s been in Damien’s position before. It’s so weird playing social deduction games with neurodivergence because you just pick up on things other people don’t notice. And it can get incredibly overwhelming trying to explain these very nonverbal things.
I loved seeing her face - when she's jokingly teasing him at the end at 34:00, but then when he asks if he actually hurt her feelings, her face immediately changes into genuine one and she immediately goes to firmly reassure him. It made me so happy.

Leaving a comment now before I forget - it's been 8 months since the cast played "Sounds Fishy" with the four red lying fish and the one blue truth fish game, and it was played before Arasha solidified herself as the group's liar/best deceiver, so I'm pleading that the cast plays it again but this time including Arasha to see if she can fool the gang again (especially with the last few times where Jackie and Noah were able to completely fool at the beginning of their rounds)

Courtney had to use the last and most devasting tactic to get ppl on her side but she knew it would hurt Damien so bad. I love the mind game of this series but I don't think I can stand the pressure between the members. I love them all so much and it's great seeing this side of the casts. ❤

@@horizonkyun7203 I think Courtney knew how to exploit Damien's trying to not analyzing the situation but still did as well as the foundation of the previous game and she took all of that to her advantage so no one could've spot the flaw in her behaviors. Even Damien who were aware of this refused his own belief cuz of their friendship trust and he was also conflicted by his big braining the whole game. Everything just worked out so well in Court's favors

We seriously need to allow Damien to big-brain more. Each time he wanted to say something and stopped himself, I was like "Nooooooo I wanna hear what everyone is thinking!!!" Even though it WAS funny seeing him get more and more defeated as the episode went on lolol.
Edit: And omg, Courtney's act was so insaneeeee, the first move of giving Arasha 2 fascist cards brilliant! But then basically acting like a liberal but staying out of the spotlight? I didn't even think of her being a possible fascist!! I just think it's funny how the liberals didn't trust her for no reason, it's like their gut was telling them no. I genuinely think that the Ian/Angela trust & luck is what got the liberals to win LMAO Chance was sooooo close to making Courtney chancellor. And he honestly gave good arguments because other than the loyalty factor (the way Damien and Ian/Angela had trusted each other from proof of their cards) Courtney was completely innocent from the outside perspective! Love love love this video it had a great plot twist and everyone got so emotionally invested which made it hilarious. The cast has the same vibe as a family.
Yeah I think he tries to stop "big braining" because sometimes he's over-thought something and ended up accidentally misleading himself, but that's just the nature of a game like this! I think it's fun to hear people's thought process either way lol.
