I love to see you two shooting in Death Valley, my favorite national park. You were so lucky to have a windless evening allowing excellent audio underneath the great DIY tutorial. As usual, spicing up the serious stuff with some antics is always fun. Where was your invaluable assistant, THE CAT? I want to see you attach a mini-light tube to Kitty's tail and capture some real furry light painting!
good day, sir, ma'am. what is the material are you using for the tube? and do you still edit urself so that u will not be visible in the models background? thank you!
I tried a DIY tube with not much success. I bought a T-8 tube, cake collar and I had some Roscoe gels. I took the cake collar at the width you suggested, attached the yellow gels I had at half the width of the cake collar like you stated. I slid cake collar/gel strip into tube and used a white cloth over end of tube. I used a G26 flashlight that I believe has like 330 lumins. I set my camera on bulb, F/9 and 200 iso but tube was VERY dim. The tube was very bright for the first maybe foot but after that you can barely see any light throughout tube in the exposure. Any thoughts or suggestions ?? Appreciate all you guys do for light painting !!
Amicalement
Hi Erick, for the flashlight olight m1x you use T8 or T12 tubes? I try with a DIY tube with 30mms of diameter, but the hot spot is too brilliant, I try with only tube, with a internal diffuser but the lidht it's not good
T8 only :) it's normal to have a hot-spot. If you look at my pictures, you'll see that I always have a brighter spot near the base (where I hold the flashlight)
hello friends thank you again for this video shame that you do not do more in French but that does not prevent me to continue you are here and on instagram

hey hi!! f9, iso200 is probably not optimal if your flashlight is only 330 lumens. Try at f4 (in a darker place). It should be better ::)) Thanks!
thank u i love it alot you are great
Do you mention at all what exactly your tube is made out of? Like where did it come from. Brand name of the product?
I'm pretty sure it's the first link in the description ;)
im from philippines and i cant find that material you are using.
Hello Eric. Love your videos. One question, what material is the tube made of?
Nevr mind. Found your video with the cake collar!!
Sir hi from INDIA 🇮🇳
Can u make a video on how you edit the image to the final results
That will be very helpful
Great video.... just a side note on 1:18 , the thickness of 0.005" = 0.13mm 🤓 (by the way.... Happy new year!! )
