A girl calls an innocent boy "creep", slaps him in front of the entire class, falsely accuses him and blots his character just for her selfish needs to save herself from been convicted, the teacher also scolds the boy and sends him out in terrible humiliation......the whole class kept laughing, they enjoyed because he was a boy.
Further the girl kept bullying this boy, spreading false rumours about him, calling him by demeaned words "Gay", "Chaka".
She kept abusing him on Social media platforms, and many false rumours about him and his character prevailed over all schools of the city.
The boy felt into severe depression and lost all his academic Excellence, earlier was second ranker in my school.
This is a story of one of my friend in a coaching institute who committed suicide on 25th March 2022.
Everyone in this society believes, "Ladki hai toh sahi hi hogi, ladke ne hi kuch kiya hoga"
Why are we so gender biased....Can't a man go through violence, can't a boy be harassed and bullied. Can't a girl be ever wrong?
Really very depressed due to this system, just pray to die soon, and be born a girl in next life😔

I am a girl and this issue is seriously getting bigger... If this continues then not only lots of gentle men would be humiliated and heartbroken but also when a girl will be truthful about such things no one will believe her words and would say, " Dekho, kaise innocent ladko ko fasa rahi hai."
Wherever he is now, I pray for his well- being. Radhe Radhe.

just look at what happened in the iit guwahati case.. everyone around started calling the girl a feminazi and that she was making up random rumours about utsav to tarnish his reputation.. people distanced themselves from her and many seniors even told her friends to stop visiting her in the hospital, removed her from clubs.. and finally to top all of that her r*pist is sent out on bail?

as an iit kharagpur ka bachcha, I can confirm that all that you said is accurate, its just that things would get much more better if all the students preparing for JEE and their parents get to know this during their preparatory period itself so that they don't have any misconceptions about how life at iit actually is...

  • @rohitpachar5393
    @rohitpachar5393 2 ปีที่แล้ว +393

Hi, I am Rohit, I am just going to complete my 1st year at IIT BOMBAY, and I agree with all the things that Tarun said. Before coming to IIT you may feel that you are good at one thing or the other, but in IIT you realize that there are people who are better than you in all fields like sports, tech ,acads, cult etc. And these things create at mental pressure ,but at the same time they also make you realize that you have to improve and keep working hard.
And regarding the consumption of intoxicants , it is very high , many students start them because of the mental pressure but then it lead to a very negative impact on their life .
So at last I would say IIT's make you mature , let you live your life in your way , all the decisions of life are now in your control, you have to take them wisely.

As a guy who has been depressed before and also being depressed after getting into IIT Bombay for my Masters, i can suggest one thing to all those who are facing similar problems. Set a routine for yourself and follow it no matter what. It's one of the simplest things one can do but has huge impact on mental health and career alike. Assess your progress and make necessary changes to your routine. Get some sort of physical exercise at least 3 days a week. Embrace your time at an IIT and be patient, results will come, you'll feel better about yourself and be more confident.

Being a passout from IIT have thought about sharing this from long but no-one gives a shit . Specially the society's and family expectations are the most important factor for the engraving stress and loneliness in the life of iit students. Most of the times you won't be able to tell your insecurities with anyone (i mean anyone including your family and parents) just because you cleared one exam and so you can do anything in life but not get depressed cause you are not a Human being ,you don't have a heart ,you can't feel anything you are just a machine giving achievements and accolades one after other and if you don't you are bullshit as you will be always be compared with your fellow iitians and greats ,even if you you are still better than average.
And the main dilemma is you can't talk about this because it will also demean your value because an IITian Never complains .
I just gave an JEE exam and cleared what wrong have I done, i didn't do all of these because of some society respect and to brag amongst other. It was just my personal choice to give this exam and i cleared and now after passing from IIT Bombay you are answerable to each and everyone in a society. I DON'T WANT THIS TAG.I just wanted to study in institute who's name was IIT.

bhaiya your each and every point was upto the mark and i can admit it to whatever you said though i am a jee aspirant of 2022 so far but i can still relate to the situation of being in an iit where you are surrounded with best brains of india and finding out each single day from your peers that they are doing this and that and you are nothing in front of them and this gives the biggest depression.. forget iits even if i share my jee experience i was a topper of my class till 11th standard and then in 12 th i started my jee prep as i started my journey i came across a lot people solving that book this book solving questions of advanced straight away and they were better from me in many ways and that creates a lot of mental pressure to me that till 11th i was at the top and now i am nothing.....and i even saw many aspirants till now whose only aim is iitb cs and nothing below that .............uff....and as far as i am concerned i don't fall in that category of people who don't care what the other person is doing i seriously do care and sometimes due to this i land myself in a short term depression........ 😖😖😖😖😖😖after all thank you bhaiya for making a video on this topic as there are many iitian vlogers on youtube who only make videos on fun, cultural fests , parties in iit but never ever discuss on a more important topic...

when it comes to intoxicants thing i totally agree and that happens because these students have lived their entire life slogging for IIT under peer pressure. when they finally reach they often lose control of themselves and see the vast world for the first time and hence want to do all sorts of good and BAD things too.

It was of 50 marks and the passing marks was just 7, in my dept 63 students got backlog including me🙃. Okay! I have to address, no hate to him(I am known to hate nobody). But maybe this guy is just spreading negativity. There are certain things that you don't need to know before to face them. Also everybody is built different, the problems, he faced may not be even problems for everyone. Like I saw he was a introvert really nervous kind of guy in the first year. I recollect I was not like that in that age so think I could do better than him and maybe, the one reading is even better in handling stuffs like that. No comparison, cat fights..... I just want you, don't get sucked into his reality, you, the one reading is far better than anybody 😅...
One day I met a person and we talked about going far from our homes to study if we got the chance, she said she wouldn't go even if she was selected because she feared she may get into smoking or something in the hostels, away from parents guidance as she heard of many others. I thought, that's not even a reason to consider. I mean, I hangout with smokers and drinkers even (when they invite me for some birthday parties) they would literally somke besides me but I have never smoked or never drank alcohol..... Don't listen to anyone, you do whatever you think, so just think right and be conscious of every moment, you always have a choice, if you just believe in yourself and your set of ground rules, you'll be just fine like this guy, see he is not mentioning be he went past all those. Don't not consider these things to decide whether join an IIT or not. IIT is better no matter what...

If you can enjoy your life that is enough. Getting good marks ,good job , good salary doesn't create any meaning to your life. The problem starts when you get bothered about others like they are more than you in certain aspects. just think this is your life and you are not born for competing with others. Just enjoy your life when you sacrifice everything and at the end you won't get enough time for enjoying your life. The mental pressure created by the various managements are getting more these days no one cares about that no media will publish the news until someone loses their life.

Being a final year student at IIT Madras, I agree with all the points that you have mentioned.
I would like to add one more thing. The problem lies with our society. They have that mentality that once you get into the IIT , Your life will be set. But that's not the case. You still have to work hard for those 4 years as well. And I feel, If a student from other College put the same effort, He can achieve the same thing. It might take time ( may be 3-4 years after the graduation). But they will definitely get.
Work on your skills. No one would ask you whether you graduated from IIT or a normal college. Your skills and passion will say everything.

They work their ass off to get into IIT to achieve something or to prove something but even after getting IIT they have to do even more hard work competing against real geniuses. I respect them truly from the bottom of my heart.

IITs r always the top notch..! (When u compare with any non IITian) Be it in placements, academics, co-curriculum.. etc.. Facts r...pacakages at IITs r the top.. compared to any other colleges or universities..!
And tbh..IITians r always IITians.. they always get the first preference where ever they go..!! 💯💯💯 Being an IITian will for sure give u success in some point of time.. for sure..!!
Coming to the dark side and all.. it's just a part of IITians life.. since all students there r the toppers of toppers.... They will for sure have that stress, anxiety and depression sometimes.. But yeah.. It may be a similar phase like JEE.. IITians have crossed that phase with lakhs of competors.. can surely cross this too..!
And college life mostly depends on the people with whom u mostly interact, so it all depends on their ownself.. So they r the only one's who can mould it well too..! 💯💯
An ordinary college student needs to compete with all the engineering students.. But *for IITians..top companies actually come for them with higher job roles.. They need to chase for a good package for sure.. but, if the student has some good skills in hand.. and some noticable achievements along with the IITian tag... he for sure will be in the limelight..!*

I am a faccha at IIT Kgp this year. I am about to complete my 2nd sem online and I can firmly say that I have learned absolutely nothing. All I have done is to pretend that I study with my friends but in reality we are just killing time. Noting else. I have not even studied my departmental course properly (Engnn Mechanics; I am a student of Mech. Engnn. dual). Whatever Tharun is saying is absolutely true...

Also all you knows that the girls : boys ratio will be soo less in any IITs and coming to the classes, you literally forget how classes were been till your 12th, here in a single department there are at least 100 - 300 students for only one professor, so the professor cannot maintain a eye-contact with each and every student and also the professor won't know your name too even the semester ends and coming to Kharagpur if you are mingle then IIT KGP is the best place for you and if you are single its the worst or something bigger than worst literally there won't be mental peace in you and the fact that Tharun said about the confession pages is damn true.
Anna ee video delete avthademo anipisthundi !!
