I always got the vibe from the cartoon Iceberg is a "tough guy". He isn't into skiing, or scouting. He likes the cold, and fighting. So give him a gun and throw him into the arctic. He is a great figure to man one of the guns on the Arctic Blast vehicle.
I was a teen when this Joe action figure came out. His E3 version of the M60 7.62mm would be a odd pick for a artic SOF trooper. I shot & packed a M60 in cold weather in the early 90s. The machine gun would jam or break often in bad weather. special oils & gun care fluids are best for artic weapons. id add that iceberg was not used a lot in the marvel GI joes. I do remember his figure bio saying he was from Brownsville Texas & was so miserable as a kid he purchased his own a/c!
The was a Street Fighter II version of Guile, in an arctic uniform. He came with powder blue skiis, that match Icebergs vest. I put the skiis with Iceberg enstead. It works pretty well.
formbx257 I already watched it :) I have two of the blizzard figures, He is on my top ten list. Guiles accessories really made no sense to me. They threw it all together, Deep Sixs buye and air tank, Blizzards skiis? there was no rhyme or reason for it.
I wonder if he was originally intended to be a vehicle driver, with his goggles & shoulder holster, he looks more at home inside the Snow-cat than outside of it.
I recently purchased Iceberg. I love the figure, I wish that he came with skiis, like Blizzard and Wind Chill. I love the arctic troopers.
