That’s a brilliant concept. Livestream would be awesome, as your stories are so alive and interesting. A professional guitarist lifestyle touches on so much. Great idea, Shane!
Shane, you’re one of my favorite players. Your New Orleans Funk Guitar book is one of my favorites. Your Your TrueFire Auto Wah groove is one of the coolest things I’ve ever heard. Really excited for what’s to come from your channel.
I love your Nick impression! And that sounded like a Dave “whoa” vs a Steve “whoa”. 😂 Great stories Shane! Please keep ‘em coming when you can. ⚜️☮️❤️🎶
Thanks for sharing Great playing , great day in the life memories . Heartfelt music , rich relationships are part of the gumbo that’s truly in your touch and tone . Much gratitude !
What a cool sound and great riff! WoW!! great experiences you’ve had … fun coaching slide guitar experience with Nick Nolte. Very colorful! Promise to let us know more please?
Hi Shane, just a 60-year-old guy from Osaka, Japan residing in the US. It is such a great behind-the-scenes story!! I have the same Fender Champ you showed..! Also, learned what "Hang" means in the US music ~ session world :) I listed all your albums and really enjoyed your TureFire courses and Riff-Raff podcast that I often listen to when I commute... haha. I have not been there yet, It is probably be a bit over 2hrs drive to Daryl's House Restaurant, so hope to see you in there sometime in the future! シェーンさんのリズムギター超カッコいいね! (ちょっと自分には難し時、結構あるけどね、苦笑)
great stories, Shane...love em. Also love hearing a bit of "Old Men" ....have all of your CDs and that tune is a fave. p.s. is there a way to IM or email you? wanna share something....fred
While I really enjoyed the humour in these stories Shane, I mostly appreciated that you highlighted the actors’ dedication to excellence in THEIR craft. That’s so relatable to musicians. BTW, if he had been a musician instead of an actor, Nolte sounds like he could have been a member of early Motley Crüe, or the 1970s Rolling Stones.
Dropping this here at 3.9k subscribers. Gonna come back and look at it when it’s 39k and 139k and…
thanks for all the nice comments. Maybe if the channel gets going a bit more I'll do a weekly or bi weekly livestream and tell more stories....:)
