namaskara Dr Arathi avare... Excellent coverage of critical point on TMK. For people like TMK, Kamal H, Prakash Raj - they sit in their cocoon places like Bangalore/Chennai an blabber a LOT. For these people ಅಹಂಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಉದಾಸೀನವೇಮದ್ದು .

    Very thought provoking talk.
Why can't we give a counter explanation about Brahmana, Dharma and such words on wikipedia and other websites citing authentic documentation?

The presentation is good. But the word Brahmin has changed long back. The present society have used this word as a part of caste. The ultimate truth of Brahma as you have rightly pointed out has gone

Great presentation.TMK's work is to gain cheap popularity. He can never achieve famous or awards through his music. So it is easy to create such useless controversy and thats how he has got awards, and attention. Its sad to give even any damn to his words and give explanation. In my view, he must be ignored.

If you feel Wikipedia is one of the issues, you may yourself be a part of clarifying the misunderstandings and be an editor for that topic.

Well done Dr Arthi!!, facts presented so lucidly and TM Krishna I think is just a paid-parrot - cloaked as a highly skilled musician; although I respect any counter opinions, his crass remarks did leave a bad taste.

Crap . It's a known fact that 99% of carnatic artists are Brahmins and 99% of carnatic music listeners are brahmins . 30 years ago if you go to a carnatic music teacher to learn carnatic music the first question will be what caste do you belong to ?.

Enough. Change the name of Carnatic music to Tamil Music first. That will be more appropriate instead of all this ranting!
