As funny as these are, I have, for some time now, begun to feel very sorry for all those women whose parents decided to choose 'Karen' for their first name...
I am fairly sure that they (who ever they are) wanted to have a word that started with the same "letter" [in this instance 'c' & 'K' sounds the same] as the actual word, but did not want it to be a swearword that offends most woman. Women named Karen/Karren usually know the difference, are not offended, but others do not.
