    My 99 has the same iac valve and switch . With the switch removed , keep putting cleaner down in the 2 small holes in the valve , and use the air hose to rapidly turn the shaft , blowing down threw 1 of the 2 small holes , at a angle that forces the shaft to turn . The hidden bearing gets grit in it , youll feel the grit as you turn the shaft by hand , it takes several times , cleaner and turning the shaft with air to get it washed out of the hidden bearing , If the grit isnt washed out of the valve , it will stick and not work correctly and a waste of time . After its cleaned put some oil down into the hidden bearing and the outer bearing turning the shaft making sure both bearings are oiled , then blow out the excess oil . Now do what ever you want , its yours..............

    Hello, a question, if I just take out the IAC and measure it and it gives me the current impedances and the correct voltages arrive from the ECU, it will tell me that the air intake area is dirty, so you. he explained. What do you think if I send the carburetor cleaning spray through the channel in the throttle body and move the shaft to clean it.

    Hello, I did a test, I removed the rubber from the air filter, so I had access to the throttle body, I started up and gradually covered the air intake that enters the IAC valve, as the covers stretch to stop until when completely covered, the engine stops. But I can't find the fault, which is that it starts and as it warms up the rpm goes up to almost 2000 rpm. Then when driving on the street or highway, if you leave it in neutral, the rpm goes up to 2000 and goes down to 1000 until in a moment if I stop the car they go to 2000. A query, I made contact, I measured the female card of the IAC with tester and 12 volts to the positive (black cable) arrive at the connector, nothing to the ground cable and the other signal 0.14 volts and the signal 0.14 volts..., I also tell you that if I disconnect the connector from the IAC, the car runs and does the same problem. I am very concerned that it may be the ECU that may be sending an inappropriate voltage. thanks for your help

    • @MarzNet256
      @MarzNet256 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds like you might also have a vacuum leak somewhere. It can cause the high idle. Be careful when applying 12 volts to connectors because certain wires on connectors that go to ecu run on lower voltage and 12v can damage ECU.

    • @enriqueatala2567
      @enriqueatala2567 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MarzNet256 Hello, yes, I measured voltages and impedances to measure, I never injected voltage into the female connectors. The worst thing is that it has been scanned 3 times with a toyota scanner and other professionals and it does not give any errors and the check does not turn on. I think this 2008 model does not have a MAP sensor and therefore does not give a vacuum leak error. Thanks for your help mr.

    • @MarzNet256
      @MarzNet256 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@enriqueatala2567 Often times the engine will run lean but not trip a code until a certain threshold is reached. I would think you have a MAF sensor which would be giving an "incorrect" reading to the ecu due to pirate air. Did you try looking for vacuum leaks using brake clean (on a cold engine). Also what is the MAF reading? It should read close to engine size in liters.

    • @michaelmaloney6112
      @michaelmaloney6112 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      PCV valves doesn’t always throw a code. For anyone reading this stream of comments and will cause that same issue. A MAF sensor can still read good and cause this same issue. Could be a number of things but in my experience those are the most common on Asian Domestic cars
