Woooooooow this was such a unique and amazing vlog, I really enjoyed it. Actually my favourite was the portrait of the lady - if you keep that in black and white and printed it large and framed it on the wall it would look incredible I think - such a beautiful picture. I love stuff like this, will definitely watch your other videos on you unboxing history. Much love Laura xxx
Ciao Laura, thanks for watching the video. I love these vlogs too, if you can't tell from the video ahaah. Yeah, the photo of the lady is nice too, I was indecisive in coloring that one. And yes, watch the first video, when I find the negatives. Love that one lol
this is honestly incredible. can't believe these are 120 years old!!! I didn't expect it at all at first from the negative, but my favorite ended up being #10! Love your great-granduncle's variety of subjects and styles. Landscapes, portraits, portrait mode, and architectural shots all in the first small batch. . . can't wait to see what's to come :D appreciate the editing and camera setup. you could definitely post some of these on r/oldschoolcool or anywhere for that matter
I too love these historical photos. I could look at them for hours. Thank you for sharing. My favourite is No.10. I love her expression, she's a bit apprehensive. I'm interested to see what the 2nd composition of the girls will be, because sadly, I believe the dark headed girl was no longer of this world. During the Edwardian period this was a very common practice - to have a token of their loved one. Do you agree? I'm really looking forward in seeing what you unveil next 🙂.
Yeah, Mariano, Brad doesn't have the pronunciation! Exactly! But Christoph Waltz does! Why did you remind me of this?! Now I have to go and watch the whole movie again! ;)
Hello there. Thanks for watching the video, I hope you enjoyed. I think it was normal to have these patterns on the edges of the glass. If I am not wrong, those are stains of the liquid that was brushed manually on the glass plate. Consider to subscribe for more videos. Ciao

Ahaha. Yes. But Cristoph says some random italian words though in the film. Still a great actor!
Thank you for sharing this! Is it typical/normal that glass negatives have little damages on the side? (paint chips) Like @ 5:45 and 6:03.
