Books are way better than most social media nowadays, and you retain your focussing ability.

My situation was worse than you, I completed my Computer Science, although I already choose that from my schools only because I use to be soo curious and enthusiastic about computers and especially hacking. But I lost myself in competitive exam for science stream here in India. Since then I got drifted for like 5 years now! I got internship which I left because I didn't know what I was doing and work culture was wayyy toxic. It's 2 months since I left that company and finally I'm beginning to find my passion and curiosity back. Others's situation are even worse they can't lose job because of their family expectations here. But we need to take the risk smartly because we can't compromise our mental health forever for survival forever.

Following something which you're not passionate about destroys the love for learning. For a lot of external circumstances I had to study engineering. Well I never liked it. After grad I did get a good job but as I was never passionate, I failed to continue and left the place. I have no passion towards engineering. now when I asked myself the big question, what am I interested in? It's already too late. I know deep down I always had a thing for environment and whatever is within it. I could've studied agriculture, environmental science or anything related to climate change but I was too fearful to give it a shot. I've suffered and I am suffering for these reasons. I will try to redeem my mistake. If you're reading this don't make a mistake like me. Ask yourself first, what's excite you? And then follow that path. Learning would feel thrilling.

    In my opinion
    1. Don't know what can do or love to do
    2. Spend a lot of time on the social media network for stuff not useful
    3. Could not find a way how to start it
    4. Maybe laziness is a reason
    5. No target in life
    Suggestion:
    1. Focus on self-development, find out the stuff you want to do, and you want to spend a lot of time on it.
    2. Using AI tools for help as assistance to learn more stuff which is useful
    3. Start with a small thing and no need to consider it too far, but the direction must be correct, and then improve or fix it.
    4. If necessary, seek help or advice from those who have already produced results.
    5. Every day must be planned to arrange the time, and the reasonable use of time.

You never know what someone is going through so it’s best to keep things like this to yourself or show concern in a different way. you probably mean well but just be careful, have a good day:)
