Talk about complications. Bruno Manheim tried to have John Henry Irons killed, which resulted in Superman getting involved, leading to Peia nearly dying in the process, and Bruno needing Superman to save her. Not to mention Mateo finding out about his parents, and Natalie not being allowed to see him anymore. All this from a dinner gone wrong.
It sucks this is how the kids break up from outside sources and not internal sources like personality, preferences, morals . Instead their parents and their beefs with each other.
Can I just say that I love when the villains have a power that can affect Superman without them just being equally strong as him? I don't love how this show has had people with Kryptonian consciousness/people with XK/people with Superman's blood. It's not as interesting to me as antagonists like John Henry and Peia, and Ally (to some extent - in the S2 finale she was kinda just as strong as Superman).
you know, not to tell you how to do your job here or anything but it occurs to me the thunderclap probably would've been a pretty good counterattack in lieu of, just standing there waiting to die
Dude, can kryptonite actually kill superman? Two episodes ago he got blasted with kryptonite and Peia. Barely a scratch. Kryptonite alone should be able to kill him right?
From previous episodes, it's my understanding that the Kryptonite either has to be directly touching him or in a gaseous form in order to hurt him. The longer that Kryptonite is in direct contact with him, the weaker he becomes and it would most likely kill him slowly. I think it can kill him, but it would take a lot of exposure.
@@awabbelghith2885 he is tolerant to Kryptonite. He isn't like in Smallville, where a pebble of Kryptonite would send him KO instantly. He can stand up and move, though slowly and painfully, even when he is blasted with a Kryptonite ray or shot with Kryptonite bullets

Exactly fam😂 what a mess!
John was damn right that woman is not a good person.
Bruno saying to John leave . John "Not without my daughter."

Instead of stepping right into the sound waves, why didn't he just come in from behind and fly her out of there?

It depends

He might have also insulated his suit so it doesn't affect him as bad as it used to.
I thought getting a boost from the sun in the season 2 finale made him a little more tolerant to kryptonite

What they should do is surgically remove Peia's vocal cords while she is unconscious.
