Girl, I wear wraps all the time during my locing journey (it’s been 4 months since I started). But, wraps are the way to go. It’s simple, easy, quick & may I say, very stylish 🦄
Great video, Joann’s is my new favorite store since I bought my youngest daughter a sewing machine. To help make your wrap material last longer all you need to do is to hand or machine stitch all around the edge of the fabric. It will also help so that when you wash them you don’t get all those threads knotting and tangling with your other clothes etc. As for discounts, if you sign up for their rewards or app you will get tons of coupons 20%-65% on a weekly basis. It’s best to only buy what you need because they have new sales often and why pay for full price if you can wait a couple of days. Best of luck and thank you for the video.
Once I spent $20 on one and I discovered it was Jersey material. I did the same thing and went to Joann's.

Yassss First of all congrats on starting your loc journey! I just decided to finally make up my mind and loc my hair April 1,2020. I previous cut my hair last summer because I didn't want to deal with my huge fro and i usually just cut it into a fade every two years when i get the cutting itch lol Now Ive started my loc journey and I started now while my hair is very short so I'm already struggling and definitely need inexpensive ways to sometimes wrap my hair and change it up so thanks for the idea. Going to head to Joanne's tomorrow and buying some wraps from these black owned businesses! Hard water is destroying my hair so I'm keeping it wrapped and tucked in protective styles like braids and twists for awhile. Also wrapping out hair for some reason to me just feels really spiritual and correct. Like celebrating what Spirit gave me by wearing a wrap to grace it. Right now I only have two scarves I use but I need more.
