- Sul sul friends! Welcome back to another Sims 4 speed build! This week, I built a professor's laboratory house near the coastline with a stacked house like The Burrow, but with a laboratory inside. The exterior was intentionally made to look shabby and worn-out, while the interior was styled with an industrial look, yet still warm and cozy. I had so much fun building this without any restrictions on specific packs. Please note that this build may not be suitable for those who don't like over-cluttered designs.

For this build, I did not use any custom content or mods. However, I did make use of the 'moveobjects' cheat. Please make sure to enable this cheat before placing the lot.

I see this house as a professor living there with his teenage daughter. But he is not exactly the best father as after his beloved wife died he has placed a lot of focus on his work rather than his family and that makes the daughter feel lonely and angry with just about everything. He becomes famous for his work. One day she got into an accident dent and disappeared. Now he has to quit his job and fame to look for his daughter only to realise just how little he knows about her and how bad he is as a father. Once she is found he wishes to spend as much time with her as possible and actually get to know his little girl. Cute story right. Anyway your build is beautiful and I really like your style. I love this so much! This is honestly my dream home irl. I love that you kept all those little moments where you changed your mind or something didn't work out. So many Sims youtubers make it seem like they get everything perfect from the first try. Seeing some realistic building is a balm to a mediocre builder's soul 😅

I had a go at building this house in my own game... it's so inspiring! I made mine into a farm house and surrounded it with plants and chickens.

Thank you! Yes, it's functional build 😊I only used moveobjects and debug items cheats. It probably happened because the game didn't detect the walls as a completely enclosed "room". This is why, for more intricate builds, I sometimes opt to use the room tool instead of the wall tool to avoid this issue.
