என்ன ஒரு தெளிவு.. ரொம்ப நேர்த்தியான பேச்சு.. செல்வ மணி சார் வாழ்க்கையில் சந்தித்த பிரச்சனை அதை அவர் கையாண்ட விதம் மிகவும் சுவராஸ்யமாகவும் , எனக்கு வாழ்க்கையில் வரும் பிரச்சனைகளை எப்படி சமாளிக்களாம் என்கிற தன்னம்பிக்கையும் கற்றுக்கொடுத்தது. மனைவியிடம் விட்டுக் கொடுத்து வாழ்வதும், ஆளுமைகளுடன் சிறம் தாழாமல் நடந்துக்கொண்ட விதம் எனக்கு மிகுந்த ஈர்ப்பை அளித்தது.. ஒரு மனிதன் தன் படைப்பை கொண்டு சேர்க்க எவ்வளவு கஷ்ட நஷ்டங்களை சமாளிக்க வேண்டியுள்ளதை மிக நேர்த்தியாக கையாண்டுள்ளார் செல்வமணி சார். சித்ரா சார் நீங்கள் செல்வமணி சார்க்கு ஆருதல் கூரியும் தீபாவளிக்கு பணம் குடுத்ததையும் பதிவுபண்ணியிருந்தார்.. உங்கள் மீது மரியாதை எழகிரது உங்களின் மனம் எண்ணி நான் சந்தோசபடுகிறேன்..
சிரம் ஆறுதல் கூறியும் எழுகிறது.ர ற வேறுபாடு அறியவும்.ஆங்கிலவழிப் பள்ளியில் படித்தாலும் முதல் மூன்று வகுப்புகளுக்குள் தமிழைப் பிழையில்லாமல் எழுதப் படிக்க மட்டுமாவது கற்றுக் கொள்வதைத். தமிழக அரசு கட்டாய மாக்கலாம் .
சுவாரஸ்யமான நேர்காணல். மூன்று மணி நேரம் தொடர்ச்சியாக இடைவெளி இல்லாமல் பார்த்தேன்/கேட்டேன். தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையின் பல நிகழ்ச்சிகளை ஒளிவு மறைவு இல்லாமல் வெளிப்படையாக கூறியுள்ளார் செல்வமணி அவர்கள். இறுதியாக அரசியலையும், திரைப்பட தயாரிப்பையும் குறித்து தாங்கள் கூறியது முழுக்க உண்மை. வாழ்த்துக்கள்.
இப்படி ஒரு பேட்டியை இதுவரை பார்த்ததில்லை...

Seriously the best interview I've ever seen given by the director.. Lot of life lessons.. He openly accepted the mistakes..
He didn't sugarcoat anything.. He openly expresses his disagreements while making a film..

R.K Selvamani sir came across so many hurdles. I think that R.K sir is short tempered . Pulan Visaranai and Capatan praphakaran are the best movies to Vijiyakanth. He is best director and honest man.

We dread short-duration interviews of Chitra for 10 minutes or 15 minutes or even 4 minutes. But, this kind of long duration interviews, definitely gives us a feeling of watching a movie. Expect more such interviews 🌹
