Only 1 in 15,000 GTA V players have this trophy - Solid Gold, Baby! And in this i'm going to attempt to earn it! I'm going to be playing through the entire story mode of this game to earn 70 gold medals so that I can earn the achievement. Think I can do it?? Fun fact: If you completed most of the objectives (but not all) you can just focus on the one objective when you replay the mission and it will count as gold

I got this on the PS3. It's tedious, but I got it when I learned you don't have to get gold in every objective for a mission *on the same attempt.* Say a mission had four objectives, and you got gold in two of them on one attempt, you could save the game and then replay the mission, this time getting gold in the other two objectives, and it would add up to gold overall for the mission.
I don't know if this was the case for all versions
Thats why GTA 5 is easier. In RDR2 u have to do every objective in one "round" 🥵

Yeah I made sure to skip all the cutscenes in with missions with a time limit which was kind of annoying when I wanted to show something for the story but we move

When I got this achievement I had so much trouble but it was so much fun. I didnt realize strangers and freaks counted at the time so it really was a headache for some missions

Man I remember golding all the main missions, the long shootout ones and heists were the worst, because you usually had to get out with a good accuracy and speed. I usually just did each goal separately so I could focus on finishing fast and then shooting accuracy.

I actually just got this trophy today lol the strangers and freaks missions helped a lot. I wasn’t even trying and I realized I had like 40 something so I said screw it and went for it. Felt pretty good when it popped although it popped for me after finishing the 69th gold medal.

The funny part being that this trophy itself really isn’t hard at all. You only need a little over half the total medals available, can pick and choose which you do and especially when the objectives stack through replays allowing you to focus on one at a time if needed until they’re done. It’s just that the vast majority of GTA5 players probably don’t ever bother replaying missions or even finishing the story in general compared to messing around in online, so it becomes ultra rare by default.

Pro tip: you can avoid hitting the aliens by going around the studio. You don't have to strictly follow Lamar, as long as you catch up with him at the Vespucci police station

Done it in 3 days, 1 day per challenge. I would recommend doing full heist at least once before trying it and search for some videos with advices.

Too many gold objectives require being completed in a certain time limit. Some of these times are very tight and frustrating. I'll never understand why RSG didn't remove the time it takes for viewing cutscenes in these missions. I did get the trophy on the original version but couldn't be bothered to earn it again on the PS4 or PS5 version.
One of the first real trophy Challenges I completed I left under the bridges and knife flights trophy till last platinum trophy was fun but not easy to achieve

Got this trophy long ago even got platinum. Repossision was hard ngl but you can use shotgun it will things waay easier

I have the platinum throphy of gta v its actually easy but you need to have a lot of time the only difficult trophy is the backseat driver trophy
it’s not just the objectives that piss me off is the fact that you can’t see the objectives before hand but also you have to sit in a 10 minute loading screen after you replay the mission
If you did 70 it would take around 3 hours of loading since for me at least loading back after a mission replay takes around 2m 30s
I would love to go for the GTA V platinum on PS5 since I never got it on any of my systems, sadly I gate online Challenges and Grinding, just getting to level 100 is such an annoying task when you start out without anything at all.
I didn’t even try to do this and I did it, I saw the video and remembered that I have this badge and checked, pretty cool

That's so cap, best way to get this achievement is to immediately restart mission after you done it while you go through story, so you have it still fresh in your mind, not to do all missions and then complete them from the start again
with this method it's extremely easy and I don't get why so few people have this achievement
