Rich is one of the best of many guides! Love fishing with him he runs a top notch operation. Last time I fished with him was for silvers with my father. Rich my Dad really enjoyed fishing with you, he unfortunately passed away in 2015 from Lou Gehrig's disease. His name was Dan Scott you may remember him.....

YOU CAN ONLY FISH THIS RIVER BY HAVING/PAYING A NATIVE GUIDE .. AND WHILE FISHING HE HAS TO BE WITHIN 100 FEET OF YOU.. AND HES THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN RUN THE BOAT.. CRAP REGULATIONS.. ALL FISHERIES SHOULD BE OPEN TO EVERYONE I DONT CARE WHAT TRIBE YOU ARE FROM... THATS LIKE MAKING THEM PAY A WHITE GUY TO FISH OUTSIDE THE REZ. IF WHITE GUYS WOULD HAVE LOST THE WARS WOULD THE INDIANS GIVEN THEM A BUNCH OF LAND AND RIVERS TO KEEP THEM OUT OF?? I THINK NOT.

Fishing the rock garden will definitely put some fish in the boat I went years ago and hooked up first cast turned out to be a snake(downstreamer)about 8 lbs but I kept it anyway at the end of the day I was ashamed because the next smallest fish was around 12lbs and they kept getting bigger with the biggest being 23lbs well worth the money paid

if it wasnt for the quinalt tribe the fisheries on the op would suck thanks to them the runs are plentiful if only wdfw would get on board and copy what the tribe here does we would have all these BS closures and worries about the native fish God bless the quinalt tribe for creating a sustainable fishery these guys work there butts off and all of them ive spoke to are super friendly and love sharing the water with the rest of us. Bait scent and boats are not the problem commercial fishing and crappy hatchery programs are the problem

I think now that all fish like that should be caught with spinning gear or fly gear, all you’re doing with that gear is just winching them in. My as well just be fishing for those stinking chinooks.
