I grew up with 'ACCADACCA' and as a kid every birthday or x mas a brand new AC/DC album was bestowed upon me ..... great vid man .... I'm thoroughly disappointed that Walmart isn't carrying the 2nd batch of 'DC gold vinyl in store 😔 I enjoy being able to go in my local Walmart and pick up new vinyl for my acdc collection. Did you see that acdc are selling their first 2 Australian albums at the dive bar during their pwr up tour?

The Australian Let There Be Rock is the version to have. I can’t stand having 2 albums with the same song (Problem Child). Why wasn’t that fixed in 2003?

I just picked up the "Let There be Rock" gold vinyl last week. My fave of all their albums. Now, for some reason, I don't like the Aussie version, as I think "Crabsody in Blue" is very weak. Plus, the album cover's not as good as the International version.

@@augie3281 But having said that, the Aussie "Dirty Deeds" is superior to the International version, at least in artwork. I never got the artwork by Hypgnosis, it really has no AC/DC vibe to it.
Sorry, it isn't the same lacquer cut as the 2009 ones. Same remaster, yes, but volume on these 50th anniversary are cut at lower volume. Just compare the runouts as well. I have compared them. The 2009 ones sounds better - better cut, wider grooves. These 50th is just a cash grab.
@@augie3281 Good. Also, nice catch with the Aussie variants. I got the red label Let there Be Rock (which is from 1987). I think yours without the kangaroo is a very early 1980 pressing, which is still very good. Hell, even the 1987 sounds spectacular compared to the others.
The new hellfire Highway to Hell I returned to the store. Sounds awful compared to my OG and the 2009 remaster. Badly cut, and also a bit bowl-warped vinyl. Another cash grab.
