A typical home owner does the right thing and uses the referral system to pick a quality roofer to replace a rusty roof.
The result is a new colorbond replacement roof that leaks whenever there is heavy rain.
And, years later...
The roof still leaks.
Seems like the 'QUALITY' roofing company have run out of ideas, resources or patience with one of their jobs.
We recount this sad story (which is unfortunately quite common in Sydney) and continue to ask why and how this type of roofing behaviour is still alive and well in the suburbs of Sydney...

I think the major problem is the pan flashings terminate in compromised pans. They should extend one more pan over. Looks like the flashings around the skylight might be factory made?
