I'm.having trouble with my side scan.. it just has blank screen. I called lowrance and we got it working but when I come off plane side scan or down imagining will not work .I have HSD 9 front and rear with a 3 D box.
Side Imaging operates best at speeds between 3 to 10mph. Once you are on plane, you are probably traveling to fast. Not sure which transducer you have. If it’s an older LSS style Transducer these are not meant to operate at high speed. Both SI & DI are “low speed” search tools to find Structure & Cover. Typically users have a shoot through style Transducer in fiberglass boats or a skimmer style to provide bottom depths at higher speeds. Hope that helps
