I wish there is a program where Kai mentors trainees in EXO's choreo. That would be so awesome. We had one episode a few years back but it was so short. Also the chemistry between NaPD, Kai and Boss Bae are just brilliant!
Everytime watching them together. I feel like Boss Bae really comfortable and was finally like, Oh man, I finally got a "friend" that has big age gap with me but I am still feel comfortable playing and joking with him, while him still respecting me at same time. EXO, on the other hand, is part of the promotion as they are the artist being promoted. Now, with the promotion, since SM plays a huge part in the promotion aspect, SM has the final say with how their artists get promoted. In simple words, both the artist and the agency shall work hand in hand in terms of promotion. Let me return your question, how can EXO get promoted without their company's support? It's like you're selling a product to the market. Of course, the product will not be able to promote itself alone in the market, right? So the company/management will be the one to create plans on how to boost the product's performance in the market. As what I've said, the company and the artist shall work hand in hand, not the artist alone or vice versa.
@Niko Lilo now where should I begin... Since when do they have to? Lol he could just like any solo artist promote only himself. But if you have noticed, even when he debuted solo he kept mentioning the members, EXO and even his label mates. But that's not the point here, is it? The point is, that SM doesn't promote EXO at all and on top of that, they block the members from variety show appearance, since debut (as several shows and EXO themselves stated several times). On top of that, they send their other groups instead, which isn't something bad, mind you, but what about EXO? You are talking about music shows, but where are they? SM let's them promote even full albums on music shows for just for a week... Now let's talk about Kai and all the shows he participates in. As you may know or not know he is actually an introvert and has many times stated, that he feels lost without his members in shows in the past. He also wanted EXO to be known through their music and not just through shows, but since SM doesn't promote EXO, he decided to accept the offers of solo appearances. Those offers weren't something SM negotiated for him, nop. The PDs and viewers are just so impressed by Kai's charm. If Kai didn't take the initiative and decided to promote EXO in his own way, SM wouldn't even bother to mention EXO in any way lol. So don't even try to imply, that SM actually put any effort in Kai's activities. Oh, well, they do get involved when they want to promote something with EXO tho....

I wish there is a program where Kai mentors trainees in EXO's choreo. That would be so awesome. We had one episode a few years back but it was so short. Also the chemistry between NaPD, Kai and Boss Bae are just brilliant!

@Niko Lilo @Niko Lilo it's not that deep bro lmao! EXO is under SM. SM is EXO's management. Therefore, SM is responsible for the promotion of EXO. EXO, on the other hand, is part of the promotion as they are the artist being promoted.
Now, with the promotion, since SM plays a huge part in the promotion aspect, SM has the final say with how their artists get promoted.
In simple words, both the artist and the agency shall work hand in hand in terms of promotion.
Let me return your question, how can EXO get promoted without their company's support?
It's like you're selling a product to the market. Of course, the product will not be able to promote itself alone in the market, right? So the company/management will be the one to create plans on how to boost the product's performance in the market. As what I've said, the company and the artist shall work hand in hand, not the artist alone or vice versa.

Since when do they have to? Lol he could just like any solo artist promote only himself. But if you have noticed, even when he debuted solo he kept mentioning the members, EXO and even his label mates.
But that's not the point here, is it?
The point is, that SM doesn't promote EXO at all and on top of that, they block the members from variety show appearance, since debut (as several shows and EXO themselves stated several times). On top of that, they send their other groups instead, which isn't something bad, mind you, but what about EXO?
You are talking about music shows, but where are they? SM let's them promote even full albums on music shows for just for a week...
Now let's talk about Kai and all the shows he participates in.
As you may know or not know he is actually an introvert and has many times stated, that he feels lost without his members in shows in the past. He also wanted EXO to be known through their music and not just through shows, but since SM doesn't promote EXO, he decided to accept the offers of solo appearances. Those offers weren't something SM negotiated for him, nop. The PDs and viewers are just so impressed by Kai's charm.
If Kai didn't take the initiative and decided to promote EXO in his own way, SM wouldn't even bother to mention EXO in any way lol.
So don't even try to imply, that SM actually put any effort in Kai's activities.
Oh, well, they do get involved when they want to promote something with EXO tho....

Lol there are literally two EXO challenges trending and SM totally ignores it lol-
