Is this desolation in Luke associated with the abomination of desolation Christ mentioned in Matthew? Was the last days referring to when the age of the old covenant was completely over with the destruction of the temple in 70 AD? At that time people could become new creations in Christ. I have to go away so the spirit of God can be sent. Christ will be with us. Like You've mentioned we are called to believe THE WORDS. The righteousness of God has been made available to us through Christ. Put Him on THE WORD says. Praise God for the blessings of HIS WORD
