I think that is a fair point and a point I have made myself over the years, but are the Celtic fans really happy with trotting the league every (nearly) year and making no impact in Europe? It is a bit of a conundrum.
@@jeffray7494 tbh m8 Scottish football without rangers would be terrible and it would be the same for them without celtic. they need each other up here..both need to get round the table and get the away ticket allocation sorted because this is our box office match in Scotland and without away fans at ibrox or parkhead the fixture is diminished
@@riboid take feynoord in Holland for example they sell a player for 30 million they spend the money on 2 15million pound players or 3 10 million pound players that is why they are moving up a level in Europe. Whereas celtic celtic sell a 30 million pound player ..they spend money on 3 3million pound players and bank the rest.that is why we can't compete at that level and nothing will change in Europe this season. Celtic have no real ambition in Europe just getting to the group stage for the money is lawells aim and winning the spl to get there.
100% agree as much as i dont like rangers i do love the craic between fans but celtic are moving on from the bigotry the songs are changing and so are celtic whilst still keeping to our roots by loading up vans full of food for the needy and immigrants time to get out the datrk ages imo...

It's because it's unlikely for a team outside the old firm to get second let alone first. I could see Aberdeen do well in Europe but if there going to focus on Europe then it will be difficult to focus on the league but who knows they may even prove me wrong
