Thanks for sharing your vulnerable side.
The fear of perfectionism and feeling like I don't or won't have the patience and persistence is what's stopping me from trying to sew and videos like yours make me feel that it's okay and to not just give up and to actually give it a go. My daughter is a teen now, but I know what it is like for a mom of a young one. You're doing fine, it'll be alright x

I really felt for you in this video Paige as I TOTALLY get those feelings of frustration with the lack of time and things not going to plan. You're amazing and a wonderful role model to Willow. The dress turned out adorable too! xxx

Firstly, being a mum and juggling time can be very challenging. Young mummy, you are doing so well. As a self-taught sewist, I have made loads of mistakes, however, that's all a part of the learning/development process. Your fabric choice and dress are beautiful. Thank you for sharing ❤️ 😍 👗 🌟 ✂️ 🍓

I like to take my time when sewing, so I only sew for 10-15 minutes at a time, then I do other stuff and come back to it for another 10-15 minutes, either the same day, the next day, or the next week. I always clearly mark where I left off so I can immediately start the next step. When I was working (I'm retired), I only had about 10 minutes of free time a day, so I did literally 10 minutes of sewing per day. The outfits eventually got made, and because I worked slowly and thoroughly, the outfits turned out more professional looking. There is nothing worse than being in a hurry and having to rip out seams because you were in a hurry. There is no deadline! So take your time.

I can totally relate to this. I just want to give you a hug!! When my daughter naps every single second counts 😆 the pressure to get stuff done in the allotted time is so hard! You’re doing absolutely amazing and you’re not alone ❤️ we are all just trying to keep our heads above water 😬❤️

Oh Paige ❤ I totally felt your frustration then and completely understand it’s precious time wasted! The finished dress is gorgeous and I love the choice of buttons! Roll on spring/summer and those lighter evenings 🌸☀️

I can totally remember the feeling of frustration and exhaustion as I was trying hard to multitask as a new mum. Gentle surrender and lots, and lots of kindness worked for me.
Thanks for your video. I'm struggling with the neck line and the button stand, something tells me is the placement of the button stand...will read instructions again.

Paige, as the mom of 4 grown children I can tell you one thing. Being a mom is all about guilt! You feel guilty if you don’t work and you feel guilty if you do work! You’re right, time is precious, especially if you have kids! You have no reason to apologize. We all have been there!

I just wanted to say I love your content and videos. Your Lyra is beautiful and this is a great video. As a working mum of 2 little gorgeous girls who loves to sew (but doesn’t have much time) I found it so relatable to see the reality of your make as a mum. I just wanted to let you know you are not alone and send you a virtual hug as sometimes it’s so hard working and being a mum, juggling everything and having time to be you x x x

It turned out so nice! That collar is gorgeously made. I hear you on being a mum of a young one and not having extra time. I have an 8 wk old and a toddler and I'm wondering if you have tips please on how to carve out any time at all for sewing. I miss it so much! Thanks :)
