- How to exchange your EU Permanent Residency (PR) card or long term residence card in another EU Schengen Country কিভাবে স্থায়ী residency card অন্য ইইউ ইউরোপের দেশে পরিবর্তন করবেন? সবার নিচে সুইডেনের ইম্মিগ্রেশন ও ট্যাক্স অফিসের ওয়েবসাইটের ঠিকানা আপনার সুবিধারতে দেওয়া হল। 5 Years Permanent Residency Card or " Portugal Zero Card" exchange or to take additional residency card in other European Country such as Sweden, France, Poland, Germany, Austria, etc.
Keep in mind that, Denmark, Switzerland, Norway, Finland does not accept to exchange any PR (Permanent Residency) Card to their respective country due to severe strict respective immigration rules.
" If you are going to another EU country during the long-term stay - more than 90 days (more than three months):
When you stay in an EU country for a long stay, usually for more than 90 days, you will generally be issued with a residence permit or a long-stay visa.
If your long-stay residence permit or visa has been issued by a Schengen area country, you can travel to another Schengen area country for 90 days per 180 day period. You must have to:
1. justify the purpose of your stay;
2. have sufficient financial resources for your stay and travel back;
3. not be considered a threat to public policy, public security, or public health.
To move from one EU country to another for more than 90 days, you will need a long-stay visa or a residence permit for that country. If you wish to work, study or join your family in the second country, you may have to fulfill more conditions.
Moreover, When you have an EU permanent residence permit (PR) and would like to live in another EU country, you need to apply at the Immigration Office of the country in question. For other EU states to issue you a residence permit, you need to meet the following certain conditions:
1. You need to have an EU permanent residence permit
2. You may not depend on any financial support from the state for your living.
3. In principle, you need to introduce a Work/Job contract (or alike) signed by your expected employer or Self Employed Business or Partnership Promissory Business Contract or a Student enrolment certificate (or alike) from the university or College or Institute you are planning to attend in the relevant country
4. You need to have health insurance etc.
When the concerned Immigration Office in the other country accepts your application, in principle, you also need to apply at the relevant Employment Agency for a work permit which allows you to work there. You have to pay application fees as per their immigration policies rates. Portugal is better if you want a passport within max 6.5 years and family reunification easily. Alternatively, you may choose France but to get legal residency chance in France is almost 15%! If you get a job in France and continue tax pays until 1.5 years by your employer against your salary then positive change may arise otherwise totally hopeless situation may entertain. No, Ireland is not belongs to Schengen country. Only if you have permanent EU residence card or permit for 5 years then you may exchange your 5 yrs permanent card (PR) in some Scandinavian countries or schengen country for example Netherlands, Finland..., But you cannot exchange it in Denmark! Hope you understood clearly
