I ran my First Hyrox Double in December 2024. We hit 1h10min and set the Goal to make it in sub 60‘ in 2025. I‘m very excited 🎉 Thanks for your amazing content. I‘ve been following you for years and you are an absolute idol. All the best for you. Be present ❤️

I'm currently training to do the Birmingham HYROX 2025. I've found that ever since I've started doing functional hyrox workouts, my fitness levels have gotten so much better! & it's pretty addictive tbh. I've never had such a good endorphin rush like this 😅❤

You inspired me to run my first marathon! I signed up for the Muskoka marathon in October in Canada 🎉 in prep I’m going to do some 10k and halves but well excited to get into the training mode again!

These are great goals! It would be awesome if you discussed how you plan to recover and be effective for each race when you have them kind of close together. Is the recovery and shake out going to be enough? Is the goal to just do it, or achieve a certain placement? Stay awesome! Cheers!

damn, that is a lot of miles, girl 😅i'm just trying to get my knees back under me and get back to running after i went ham on powerlifting in 2024 💀 also grinding away at a strict muscle-up... didn't meet that goal in 2024... but 2025's my year for sure! 💪

My goal in 2025 is to go from extensive ankle surgery (November 2024) to running my first marathon (under the guidance of my surgeon and physio, of course!) 😊 Currently on step 1: walking without crutches 😂

I have many goals for this year but one that I absolutely cannot wait to achieve is pull ups. I can't do a single goddamn pull up but if I want to get at least 6 pullups by the end of this year

2025 Goal - Run my first marathon!
I read between the lines when you talked about your running volume lately. Add to that how easy running at 3:25/km was for you and I sense an injury looming. Careful now!
@@lukecambridge5947 this comment doesn’t make sense 😂 you just said you read between the lines, so didn’t listen to the video & for me to be running really well at the moment, I think the opposite to injury 😊🤟🏼
@@LucyDavisFit, on closer inspection (on your Strava) I stand corrected. Just sounded like you'd been pushing it quite a bit harder than Strava reveals. We all know what "steady-ish" means though (a bit too fast :D ). I'm testing out my first Hyrox-like event next month but my main focus is Obstacle Course Racing. Gonna be fun! Thanks for sharing your journey :)

Love the channel, but wondering if you think the ultra in May 2 weeks before the worlds is "good idea". I worry about you being trashed still. I have run 100 before as well as many Ironman Tri's and having done a few hyrox in this last year I dont think Id be great two weeks after. I know your way more fit than I, but want you to crush worlds

She doesn't look natural for endurance events. If you think about women who compete in the Olympics in endurance events then they don't have anywhere near the same level of muscle bulk that this woman does.
If you compare her physique to the Olympic power lifters or Olympic hammer throwers then this woman's physique would fit in very well, then OK she looks normal if that was the training she was doing, but that isn't the training this woman is doing.
She just has too much muscle bulk for the endurance training that she is doing, so it just doesn't look natural for endurance events.
And yet..and yet... she does it. Not just once but over and over. Maybe reevaluate your preconceived ideas of what other people "look" like they're capable of?
@@matthewbaynham6286 I swam for 10 years, to a really high level, I’m also an endurance athlete for sure but I also compete in Hyrox & hit the gym. Just because I don’t “look” like a typical endurance athlete doesn’t mean anything to be honest. I’ll keep doing me, you do you 🤟🏼
