I tried following other tutorials but my amigurumi was still lopsided and lumpy. Nothing helped me except for this video. The hand movement to create a tunnel was a game changer. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks Kayla, makes sense. I'm usually getting lumps so I see how this can help :)

A good technique on how to stuff. The more you use the better the finish. Thanks Kayla.

Your stitches look so nice and neat. Love that color. Thank you for demonstration. I’m never sure how much poly-fil i need.

    Hi Kayla.
Great tutorial. It's surprising how much they take to be full.
At the moment my fill is coming from a sofa seat cushion. The actual back cushion of our old sofa. The centre seat was hardly used, so when we purchased a new one I took the cushion out from behind the leather and it's like new and a really soft quality filler.
Take care and keep safe. xxJane

Good tips on stuffing. This is the first time seeing one of your videos. Whatever that stitch is that you used, I’ve got to know. It’s nice and tight - perfect for amagurumi! Hopefully you have a tutorial about it.

It’s amazing how much poly-fill it takes for each ami. I’ve just finished my first 20 lb box. I’m thinking of getting a 10 lb box because I’m forcing myself to do something other than amigurumi. I always over stuff and use E hook.

I've been buying the premium poly fill by the bad. It's like $3.99 or $4.99 a bag. I've been wanting to buy it by the box. Because I make so many amigurumi.
You stuff so methodically. This was really interesting to watch you how you stuff.

I get my 5lb box of stuffing at Hobby Lobby...just bought a box for $15. They never put the boxes on sale but it's cheaper that way than buying 5 bags of 12oz even when they are on sale.

I never thought to pull it apart first. I've just been shoving the stuffing into my projects. I started using my fingers to spread it out after I watched a lady who does nothing but amigurumi. I can't think of her name right now. She took some time off after she had her last baby.
